Very basic but good location
The second time we have stayed here but won’t return, room not cleaned first day, paper cups for hot drink, no milk. We chose for location but better hotels of similar price nearby.

Bonjour, Nous sommes désolés que le séjour ne vous ai pas plus. Pour le ménage, nous demandons les recouches tous les matins car beaucoup de personnes ne souhaitent pas le ménage, ce qui peut expliquer votre constat en fonction de votre réponse le matin même.Pour les boissons chaudes, ce sont des gobelets basiques identiques à ceux du commerce, mais il était possible de nous demander une tasse. Le lait n'est pas mis automatiquement car peu de personnes en demandent. Il ne faut pas hésiter à nous faire part de votre retour le matin de votre départ car aucunes informations n'a été transmises. Nous espérons toutefois vous faire changer d'avis lors de votre prochaine venue.

Ideal hotel for central Dinan.
Front desk staff were great, really helped us with parking etc. VERY clean hotel, discreet and quiet cleaning staff. Will definitely stay again. Guests and staff alike very quiet and respectful of each other, good sleep... much needed after the tango festival!

Lovely Sunday stay
Great location. Room delightful with balcony. Lift made 2nd flop easily accessible. Wonderful restaurant on site for a great meal on Sunday night when not much is open. Staff very helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. I was just glad I didn’t need to wash my hair as it would have taken forever to dry it with the old fashioned hairdryer!

A very comfortable stay in the centre of Dinan. Room immaculate. Comfortable bed, good shower. Tea and coffee provided but asked for mugs rather than the little cardboard cups provided. Good Wifi and public parking outside. Excellent value for money.

Old appartment - not what's advertised
The reservation was for a queen and king bed. The apartment we got was not even in the hotel but rather 2 blocks away in a shady building on the 2nd floor (1st for France), without elevator, and a very thin stair, so don't bring too many suitcase and make them light. The king size was ok but the queen was a fold out futon which took me 20 min to unfold and prepare. They did not have enough bed covers so 1/2 of us 4 froze during the night. On the bright side, although this apartment was not in the hotel, the area where was pretty nice and night and day.

Hello, The apartment is 200 m from the hotel and is noted in the reservation. We have offered to put you in a room at the hotel. There are duvets for all beds, sheets and pillows at an additional cost. There is a manual for the sofa that does not pose a problem to anyone because you just have to pull. On the stairs no one has any problem with luggage. Cordially. The direction

They say there is parking, we asked for parking, there was not and we had to park across town. The carpet in the first floor gave the entire hotel an odor of fish. Noisy area and you'll be reliant on having the windows open in the summer, so very difficult to sleep. Reasonable price, reasonable room, great location, friendly staff, the wifi works. Bad does not outweigh the good.

Great overnight stay
Last minute overnight stay. Lovely room- really comfortable bed. staff were really friendly. Opted for breakfast- great choice. The hotel is right in the centre so great for walking around. Would thoroughly recommend .

Great service from reception staff. Small room, only downside was misleading information about off street parking. Booked 9 mths ago and mentioned limited parking available, but on arrival no hotel parking at all. Staff very apologetic and offered discount on breakfast. Location fabulous. Would stop there again.

Superb position to walk around the wonderful old town . Don’t arrive when the market is on, the whole town is jammed solid. We had to park half a mile from hotel and move the car closer when the market finished around three in the afternoon. Parking was easy then.

The receptionist and other staff were very helpful especially with bus travel bookings to St Malo and storage of luggage prior to departure. Breakfast was varied and fresh. The beds and towels were well made and clean. We chose a hot week to visit so opening the windows for fresh air also allowed the early and late traffic noise into the room. Obviously closing windows resolved this. Thank you.

Great location, great stay
Dinan is a great town to home base and this hotel makes it easy. It is reasonable and clean but most of all the location is ideal. We walked a lot all over the town and this hotel was wonderfully located. The breakfasts were great too.

Have stayed here before so happy with hotel, allocated room 7 this time at the back of the hotel, nice size room with a view of Buildings and countryside. Bed comfy and very good shower.

We had the apartment which is not a part of the hotel but was in centre of the city and a very lovely apartment for 3 to 4 people. Dinan is a city you should not miss when traveling to France!

This historic property with its "pitch perfect" restoration is the ideal location/"gateway" to the ancient, incredibly charming town of Dinan. The rooms are impeccably clean and good sized and the staff is unobtrusive yet totally efficient. It is also very reasonably priced.

It was a lovely small hotel very central to the Old Town. I wish I had known that Dinan is essentially CLOSED UP on Mondays. Go to Dinan and stay at this hotel, just not on Monday.

Excellent location in the centre of town. This did mean that there was no onsite parking but there was good value parking right outside or free parking a couple of minutes walk away. The staff were extremely helpful and there was a good variety of breakfast options.

Loved the hotel and location! Nice room, great breakfast! The only thing was on Saturday night there was a large party going on in patio below our room! So if you stay on a Saturday ask for a room away from the front!

We stayed in an apartment located about 2 blocks from the actual hotel. The apartment was great except that we were expecting laundry (apparently available at the hotel). Check in/out was super smooth. Apartment had everything we needed. Location was great. They wouldn't let you park n the free lot on Thursday because of the market which annoyed us at first but we were able to find street parking nearby and the market was great!! The only thing I would suggest s that there didn't seem to be any light in the building hallways if you came in after dark so it was difficult to see/find your way/unlock the doors. Maybe we were missing something but it would be nice for instructions then.

Hello, Thank you for your nice opinion. There is a lot of light in the commons. You should have told us, maybe a light bulb? We wash and dry the linen at the hotel and we put at your disposal sheets and towels. Do not hesitate to ask us if you are missing something. Normally the linen is put for 4 people. Cordially.
