“Great place to stay”

Have stayed here before and as before the staff and hotel are excellent. They also have a fantastic buffet. I usually do not care for buffet food, but the Ameristar buffet if wonderful.

“Mostly Happy”

Everything overall was very nice. Only complaints were unable to get a signal with AT&T mobile phone through much of the property and my room, and cigarette smoke coming from casino into hotel lobbey area (but I know it comes with the territory just do not like it).

“nice stop along the way”

Staff was freindly, We had to leave early the next morning and the coffee shop was not quite open but the wonderful gentalman who was opening helped us and made sure we had coffee and muffins for our trip. Nice and clean would go back if back in the area.

“Great hotel!”

This hotel was great! It offered a variety of places to eat without leaving the premisis, plus entertainment and gambling if you were so inclined. The food at the resteraunts was exceptional. The rooms were beautiful and very up to date/modern and with all the aminities. I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel. The check in could have offered more information on what they had to offer the guests, along with a map of the resteraunts and the casino and maybe had some promotional coupons or something showing upcoming events etc.

It was a great destination and you never had to leave the complex if you did not want to.

“Great room - not such great shuttle service”

We enjoyed our room very much - it was very nice and took the shuttle to the airport with no problems. Being able to leave our car there was very nice and not having to pay for parking at the airport was a plus. However, upon our return, we had to wait an extremely long time - the shuttle left without picking us up and then when it did come, we left the aiport only to get called to pickup some more passengers. We sat and sat and they didn't come. It was over 1 hour after our flight arrived before we were taken to our vehicle. We were not please with that service at all. If you are going for the room only - it is very nice, however.

“Ameristar in Council Bluffs, IA is FANTASTIC!!!”

This hotel is first class--great for families. We got free Limo rides to and from the Omaha Zoo! Our little girls were treated like princesses!!! Thanks Ameristar...

“Great Place!”

Our stay at this hotel was very nice. the staff accommodating and friendly. The location provided easy access to I-80 and I-29. Less that 15 minutes from the Omaha airport, less than 10 minutes to the Omaha Zoo and convenient to many Council Bluffs Historic location i.e. museums, landmarks, etc. The buffet was a bit pricey but there is a smaller cafe that serves breakfast every moring and dinners on the weekends.
