Nice hotel

Posted Aug 5, 2014
It was a great hotel with a very friendly staff. Great breakfast but very crowded. The room was very open and the bed was very comfortable. The only down fall was there were pictures on their site with a hot tub in the room and our sweet didn't have one.

A comfortable place to stay!

Posted Aug 3, 2014
Pros: It was comfortable and relaxed. We felt as though we had privacy and quiet. Something as simple as having a real window that we could open.
Cons: We took the original blanket/coverlet off the bed and replaced it with the extra blanket. The one they had on the bed didn't breath.
Location: Carter Lake is quite lovely. We enjoyed the footbridge over the Missouri which is walking distance from the hotel. Shuttled to the Old Market.
Our first room had an air conditioner that sounded like a 747. The next morning we spoke to the front desk. They moved us to a different room and that made all the difference. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was fine and had something for everyone. The shuttle to the Old Market was great. We enjoyed our stay.

Won't stay again

I would like to say that we asked for a couple more towels and she said no. I asked why and she said she didn't wanna have to do another load of laundry because us immature kids weren't ising the towels properly. Other than the check in attendant, the staff was friendly.

Nice hotel, The chlorine smell in the pool was way too much, burnt my eyes after 10 mins.

Okay hotel was close to old market in Omaha.

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: We felt that the staff were all very friendly.
Cons: Seemed like there needed a lot of things fixed, like broken tiles in bathroom, very wet carpet from air conditioner, the machine for waffles.
Location: The old market was nearby with a lot of good restaurants and shopping. Also the Henry Doorly Zoo was not far.
I felt that the staff were very friendly and helpful. I do think that they need to do some updating of the hotel though. We did enjoy swimming and going downtown while there. There is a lot of neat things to do around the Omaha area!

Noisy

Posted Jul 14, 2014
It was very noisy with a lot of doors slamming past midnight. Very difficult to get a 2 yo to sleep and to stay asleep in those conditions. Other than that it was a nice place to stay and close enough to the Zoo.

Excellent staff

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Cons: Inspect and clean the rooms more thoroughly, ie. the carpet and the bedspreads.
Location: Decent location...minutes from Old Market and the river.
The friendly staff at this hotel was definitely the best part, from the front desk to housekeeping to the shuttle driver. The lobby, breakfast and dining area were nice. The rooms, however, need help and a good cleaning. While the bathroom was sufficiently clean, my socks (which were only worn in the room) turned brown from the dirty carpet. There was visible, dried-on brown gunk on the bedspread. And the room had a consistent musty like odor that was diminished somewhat by continuously running the AC. Perhaps we should have asked for another room. But this was already our second room since the first one they gave us had a disassembled AC unit and they were apparently booked during our stay.
