Loved the hotel and especially the owner who gave us such a warm welcolm. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were attentive to us if we needed anything! Loved it xx

Brooklands Grange Hotel

The pictures of the hotel make it look really nice. It is OK but nothing to write home about. When I was first given my key, I was a little concerned as the key ring itself was really tatty and delivered a poor first impression. The bedroom was OK but looked a little tired and dated. There was a draught through the window and I could hear road noise. The bathroom was dated but everything was functional. The breakfast was not included in the room rate and at £12.95 I was really disappointed with the quantity and quality of the food provided. I would suggest giving this a miss and going to a local cafe.

If you a looking for a clean and comfortable place with no frills this it. The staff were quick to correct the lack of towels in the room and the TV not working.

Brooklands Hotel May 2010

I was attending a exhibition at the NEC and stayed at the Brooklands for a couple of nights. 10-20 min drive to NEC so good location. Nice food, very clean rooms nothing spectacular but perfect for business. Would recommend.

Avoid the manager!

Stayed at Brooklands on a business trip, the hotel itself was okay however the man who appeared to cover the reception, restaurant and ocasionally the bar was the most objectional person i have ever come across- any slight question was met with a rude answer. This attitude was directed at almost all guests i saw him converse with. The food was overly expensive (23.50 for a steak!!!) in what was a bog standard hotel bar/restaurant, unfortunatley there is next to nothing nearby to give you any kind of choice. However eventually found a great country pub in Hendley in Arden called the White Lion, which is superb and only 10 min drive away. (In fact on my next trip to the NEC we will stay there instead!) The only really positive thing to say about this hotel is that the portion of chips served in the bar was huge, however i suspect most of these fell off the managers shoulder!!!

Not a bad hotel

The hotel was OK, food in restaurant was good and the staff very friendly, but nothing special. I would stay again. Charged me twice for room as paperwork not clear, but did credit very quickly with no fuss.
