Walking the Oxford Canal

Pros: Close-ish to Oxford Canal.
Cons: Move it closer.
Location: You can get onto the M6 (if you have a car). You can get off the M6 (if you have a car).
We wanted a hotel close to Hawkesbury Jn (where the Oxford Canal starts). This was the closest we could get. Not ideal as we were walking, and the canal is about a mile away - but you can't blame the hotel for that. Food, drink, service - all satisfactory. Severe lack of character, but what would you expect from a chain?

Disappointing Room

The hotel was fine ... but not up to Novotel standard. I was slightly surprised that the carpet in my room had very recently been cleaned and was still slightly damp. Also the sink in the bathroom was partially blocked, so the water took about 30 mins to drain.

Room was good but banging dorrs alnight

Room was great, however every time another rooms door closed there was a thud - stops at 00.45 and started at 5.00 so if u don't want much sleep ideal
