Nice hotel, great facilities

Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: Spa treatments, Gym and pool.
Cons: Attentiveness in the restaurant.
Location: We never ventured out of the hotel grounds, everything we required we're there.
Me and my wife stayed there for 3 night's and truly enjoyed our stay, the staff we're helpful and polite and the gym, pool and spa treatments we're second to none. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again. Mr and Mrs Gulliver

Good facilities and good value for money. Especially enjoyed the large indoor pool and the variety of the inclusive breakfast.

Close to our relatives

Didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel, as we were there for a family occasion, but the the facilities were good had we wanted to. We have stayed there a few times previously.

Ideal Location for Meeting

Posted May 19, 2014
Pros: See above
Cons: Nothing
Location: N/A
Chose the hotel because of its location, it was a very busy weekend but all seemed to run smoothly. Excellent bar area with a good selection of beers. Decided to have dinner in the restaurant, excellent choice of food and good quality when served. Breakfast following morning was an ample selection catering for all tastes. Bedroom was spotless and Internet access was easily achieved. All in All, excellent choice. NB - Didn't use the leisure facilities but they looked excellent with a large pool area.

Not thr best experience but pretty ok

Posted Apr 23, 2014
Pros: Good TV in the room; good car park; nice swimming pool.
Cons: Steam room in Leisure Centre is pretty insipid; the temperature needs cranking up (to similar level to that in the adjoining sauna); breakfast boring!
Location: Good location for the road network; a big Sainsbury's very close with cheap fuel and there are some modern eateries nearby too.
Village Hotels are all much of a muchness but they aren't bad places to stay. The rooms are quite comfortable and the bathrooms are of a reasonable size with a decent shower and bath. This one has a good car park and quite a nice leisure centre on the lower ground floor. Two restaurants serving fairly unremarkable and not very well priced food. Too many kids running amok at breakfast and in the foyer. Tap in the bathroom dripped constantly - reported it on departure, so hopefully now fixed. Could really do with more than one lift but it's a bit late for that!

Great overnight stay

Posted Apr 20, 2014
We stayed here for one night with our 2 year old. Hotel staff were excellent and went out of their way to be friendly to our son. Leisure facilities were great, an earlier option than 8am would be useful for breakfast as we were up at 6.30 so quite a long wait till we could have breakfast. Would recommend this to anyone and would also stay at a village hotel again.

Good hotel for people wanting to relax

Posted Apr 12, 2014
Pros: I liked the sports facilities and the relaxing bar.
Location: You will need a car to get places, but it's very well situated on the A45 for Warwick, Birmingham and Coventry
The hotel has lots of facilities which make the hotel stand out. It's away from the main road, so quite. The staff were very accommodating and friendly.
