HORRIBLE!

This was by far the worst hotel experience of my life! The hotel lobby wasn't air conditioned and smelled awful. Then we get to our room and it isn't clean there were cob webs in the lamp! Would rather sleep in my car then go back to this hotel.

Could use a manager

Pros: Quiet at night.
Cons: Remodeled, managed, cleaned up.
Location: Close to attractions and restaurants but not within walking distance.
If this hotel had a manager present, hopefully things would improve. Doors in to the lobby are propped open with the staff standing there smoking. Staff in the halls with unlit cigarettes hanging out of their mouths. Tables unwiped during breakfast hours. Towels were not exchanged. Laundry room door open with staff yelling obscenities. Bathtub had been patched with some rough epoxy. Carpet needed replaced. Gnats.

Worn filthy carpet, dirty walls, unclean room. We left our own pillow at the hotel at checkout and when we went back hours later to get it AFTER the room was cleaned our pillow was on the bed in our pillowcase . That was good because I wanted my good pillow and good pillowcase back BUT makes me wonder if sheets were even changed! Avoid this hotel!!!!! I didn't expect much. We wanted something cheap just for 1 night but I did expect cleanliness. This did not even meet my low expectations. Air conditioning in lobby did not work. Old tube type tv with limited channels in room.

Terrible rooms

Location: Good location to the interstate and restaurants
When we got to our room the carpet was soaking wet from the air conditioner. We asked to be moved or get a refund. They moved us to another room...but was smoking and it smelled really bad. There were ants crawling all over the refrigerator and the carpet was passed disgustingly dirty. The executives of Baymount should really visit this property...this location gives their brand image a very bad reputation. I would not stay in another Baymount Inns And Suites just because of the poor condition of this location. We could not get out of there fast enough!

Front desk staff very friendly, hotel needs work!

Pros: We had King size bed and it was comfy! The front desk staff was very friendly upon our arrival/ check in process! I felt sorry for them with no air!
Cons: Need to clean room carpets....our was stained pretty bad and just looked nasty. We were in room 140.
Location: Location was ok for what we wanted. There was a grocery store and couple restaurants near by.
My husband and I just stayed one night...and would not have wanted to stay any more than that. I did read about the lobby and hall air conditioner being out but that was several days before we were to arrive and it still was not fixed!! It was 99 degrees the day we were there and about 150 in the hotel! Now, I will say our room had air...thank goodness! I felt sorry for the workers to have to work in that conditions and the managers, property managers really should think more of their employees. Also, should advise guest before arrival of such conditions in the heat of the summer!

Bike trip

The initial greeting was nice. The staff were friendly When inquiring about local transportation and other questions, staff had little knowledge Room initial odor of cigar. Patched carpet on floor near entrance. Bathtub had a patch. Free breakfast included rubber "eggs", and homemade looking "sausage" patties. No cold cereal. Not enough tables for guests.

Pros: cheap
Cons: Everything from security to maintenance
Location: Location good.
Public areas had no air conditioning. I was told it had been at least 3 weeks without. Other visitors were changing rooms because the unit in the first room was not working. They set the room keys up wrong and every time I came into the hotel I had to return to the front desk to get one that works. They never asked for id and only once did they ask who the room was reserved with. Never checked the computer. Makes me assume that anyone could get into our room. We asked for towel change only for the room and received full service, beds made and such. Staff was pleasent.Great rate but not impressed with the visit.
