“Great place to stay and catch a Red's game”

I checked into the Courtyard by Marriot in Covington after a 5-hour drive, and was grateful to be met with competent kindness. Everything was clean and well-kept. The hotel was kept nicely air conditioned, and I was able to get my room positively frigid -- important because it was 98 degrees with astronomical humidity. Front desk was terrific, both at check-in and in answering my questions about transportation, local addresses, and food delivery. Housekeeping was pleasantly unintrusive and generous with extra towels. The hotel has a great location. It's close to shopping on Mainstrasse and the Riverfront development, and is in very close proximity to Skyline and Gold Star chili places, and only a short drive from Dixie Chili. There is a shuttle to downtown Cincinnati that stops right in front of the hotel and delivered me within 3 blocks of Great American Ballpark. As I was a woman traveling alone, I appreciated the safety. I didn't take advantage of the breakfast in the lobby (which smelled good), but their little store carried Ben and Jerry's. Score!

“Great Weekend Away”

My wife and I were able to attend the AC/DC concert so we chose to make this a weekend get-a-way. The hotel and the room was great and the staff were very helpful. The location couldn't be better. There is several things to do at all times of the day all within a 3-4 block walk. We parked our vehicle in the hotel's parking garage and never used the rest of the weekend. Thanks for the great weekend!

“Madison Theater Visit”

The Courtyard by Marriott in Covington was a great destination for our weekend adventure. I had concerns upon checking in to the hotel as it seemed a dance competition was being housed in the same facilities. This proved to not be a problem. This was a Valentine's Weekend excursion to attend a concert at the Madison Theater and the two things that we required of a hotel (taxi concierge service and hot tub) were met without exception. The only negative that we noticed while on the stay was that the room did smell like smoke even though the entire hotel is non-smoking.

“Good value compared to nearby hotels.”

Easy check-in and check-out. Room was clean and had a great view of downtown Cincy. Bed was way too soft but that is only real complaint. Free parking was great and very convenient, location-wise. Would recommend. Pretty long walk to bridge to get to Great American Ballpark (probably about a mile and a half all together). Felt very safe in surrounding neighborhood.

“Great Choice”

My friends and I made our annual baseball trip to see the Reds this year. Courtyard by Marriott in Covington was perfect. The TANK shuttle picked us up for the games and dropped us off afterwards (for just $1 each). The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Some of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in. The Mainstrauss (sp?) section of Covington is within walking distance with great bars and an excellent German restaurant. And for late night "snacks," there is a White Castle right in front of the hotel. All in all, it was a great experience for all of us.

“Great location”

The hotel was situated perfectly for getting around to all the places we wanted to see in the Cincinnati area. Comfortable room, good pool, and a microwave so we could have our popcorn in the evening.

We were very pleased with this hotel. The front desk staff were extremely polite and welcoming and the hotel is located close enough to lots of things you can walk to. Loved the free parking as well.

Clean rooms; comfortable beds; great amenities - all make for a wonderful stay at the Courtyard. So convenient to ballpark, as well as good restaurants. Would definitely stay here again! Great place to be.
