Onions... oh, my, the onions!Posted Oct 21, 2013
Pros: The staff seemed pretty friendly
Cons: The quality of the rooms and the smells, neutralizing them.
When I first arrived, I quickly realized the neighborhood wasn't the greatest. When entering the hotel, no one was at the desk. I waited about five minutes, until I got tired of carrying my bags (while in heels), and peered around the corner. Just as I was about to wander around looking for an attendant, one came in with his coat on and drink in hand (maybe a "Be Right Back in ? Minutes" would have been nice). I get my room, which was an ok price, and head upstairs. I'm a smoker, so, I got the top floor. Musty, smoke smell, but that was my choice... right? ok. Moving on. As soon as I walk into the room, I get smacked in the face with the disgusting smell of (either) cooked (stale) onions or musty armpit. I do not know which it was, but the smell was horrendous and nothing was taking it away. After that nonsense, you're told you get a free breakfast, *straight face* really.. don't bother. Make sure, if you must come here, that you check the room and ask them to move you if anything. GOOD LUCK!

Thank you for your recent review of your stay. I am sorry to hear that you did not receive good customer service when you were trying to check-in and you were not completely satisfied with your room. As this hotel's manager I can assure you that I have talked to both my front desk and housekeeping staff to ensure your experience at check-in is not repeated. I promise we will continue to strive to make sure every guest has a great stay. Thank you again for sharing your experience with us. We would love to have another chance to provide you with a better home away from home experience the next time your in town.

Good where it countsPosted Oct 12, 2013
The lobby and hallways were dingy and dark and the front desk staff seemed amateurish though friendly. Once in the room that all was forgotten. Though not fancy, the room is nice. Enjoyed the real stuffed chair (not just decorative like some places)and a good bed. The kitchen with a full size fridge you expect at an e xtended stay place relieves you from trips to an ice machine. A good choice for utilitarians who pack their own food/drink and want a comfortable place to eat, veg, and sleep on their way to or from.

Convenient locationPosted Sep 26, 2013
Nothing fancy but good for the price. Should inform people up front that there is not daily maid service. Would stay here again.

Not so GreatPosted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Smeel & breakfast.
Location: Stayed while taking in a REDS game.
Free breakfast advertised - fine print said it was a grab and go. Poor fruit, juice, coffee and granola bars. No thanks. Room also smelled wierd.

I received a copy of your review, and wanted to take a moment to personally respond. I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with the Grab and Go breakfast, and had an unpleasant smell in your room. In response to your feedback, I am checking into the wording of the breakfast, and the weird smell you experienced in your room. Our team is committed to satisfying our guests, so we are very thankful for your feedback. We hope that you will give us the opportunity to provide you with a better stay the next time you're in the area.

Had a nice time at the Hotel, good place to get cleaned up before the Red's game and then after for dinner with my wife. Had a good night's rest as well.

MehPosted Jul 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
Tim, the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and quite friendly, but the fitness room left me lacking and the location wasn't close to anything I needed (which is probably my fault), but there wasn't much within walking distance.

not what i expected for the pricePosted Jul 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
With the price of the hotel I expected it to be much cleaner than it was. The staff was very friendly and the room was comfortable. However the carpet was horribly dirty and i had to buy disinfectant wipes to wipe the entire room down. The ad said that breakfast was offered without mentioning it's a grab and go breakfast not a hot breakfast. The location of the hotel was fantastic and the service was good. But for the same price, i will stay somewhere else in the area next time.
