Close to Cincinnati DowntownPosted Aug 25, 2014
Cons: outdated building itself.
Location: Cincinnati Reds, downtown, etc
Good. Just need updates here and there. I was moved to three different rooms, and all of the rooms felt a little bit humid.

Nice place for a family to stay.Posted Aug 4, 2014
The only problem we had was a smell from the water in the bathroom that smelled like sulfur. Was a family get away and was overall a good experience. Everything you need is close by.

Attending Macy's Music FestPosted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Friendly and responsive staff and soft and comfortable beds
Cons: facility conditions--rooms should be checked to assure that everything works
The hotel facility is old and we ran into several small problems--phone was not working, card key had to be replaced several times, tub had no stopper that worked. Each time we called, the response was excellent. The staff was so helpful and friendly, it almost overcomes the facility limitations. The restaurant staff was particularly great, going out of their way to make everyone there feel welcome. Special kudos to Sandy. This was true of every staff person we encountered, from the desk staff to the maid service, to the technical folks. Rooms were comfortable--the beds very comfy. The area is not great--across the river with constant trains and downtown noises, but easy within walking distance accress to fast food and services. We would stay there again, just due to the great staff.

I was there for an entire week on business in Cincinnati. This hotel was excellent because I was able to get in and out of Cincinnati in easy fashion. The staff was very professional and the service was excellent. I will definitely stay there whenever I have to be in Cincinnati for work.

Great family stayPosted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: King bed was soft and comfortable. The staff I dealt with was superb.
Cons: Some of the furniture was dated and the sleeper sofa was not great. For small kids, it was fine. Not really an adult sleeping option.
Location: The Newport, KY area has plenty of restaurants and attractions. Newport Aquarium is a great family visit. Cincinnati is a very, very close.....
Two adults, one 6 year old and one 9 year old. The facility and room was clean, updated and very comfortable. The king bed was comfortable and kids said the sleeper sofa was "OK". The staff was a pleasure to deal with and actually seemed to have a desire to help. The breakfast experience was also very good. Good food and nice selection and...cheery, upbeat servers that helped start our day with a smile. The hotel architecture was dated but that is primarily due to the age of the hotel. That being said, every effort was made to keep the place up to date and clean.

Nice for a overnight stay !Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: The Restaurant !
Location: Took the shuttle to a reds game . Cost is $1 each way, but it only took about 5 minutes to get there.
Nice rooms . The restaurant was really nice ! Great service by the waitresses ! We did have one cleaning lady who was extremely rude. My son locked the room with computers in it . It took the maintenance guy about ten minutes to get it unlocked. The cleaning lady keep giving us dirty looks and was overly nasty about it.

It was fine for one night, but I wouldn't stay here for an extended period. The hotel needs an update, bad.

Cincinnati Reds Baseball GamePosted Jul 9, 2014
Hotel is located approx 20 minutes from the field across the river. We attended a day game and found that it was a nice walk, though not sure that I would walk it after a night game. Pool and fitness facilities were good.
