“Review from a couple w/o kids”

The toilet did not flush and although I was offered another room, by the time we got back from the bar it was late and was going to be too much hassle. Other than the toilet all was well for this place. The mall is within walking distance and so are some of hte bars (saving money on a taxi!) Since it is a cheap rate, don't have the expectations you may have if you were visiting Hilton Hotel- but if you take everything into consideration, this place gives you what you pay for.

great view of downtown cincy if you ask for a riverfront room. directly next to the bridge making for cheap taxi rides into the city.

“Definately recommend”

My wife and I travel a decent amount. You never know from the outside of a motel, what the room will be like. We have been fooled plenty of times, looked nice from the outside and lobby, and then get in room and very disappointed. The travelodge was the opposite. The outside was older looking, and surroundings plain. But then got in room and wow, maintained very well, roomy, all around pleased. The neighborhood is not exactly high quality, but ok. And makes up for that by being extremely well located for everything. We walked the bridge more than once to Cincinnati. The aquarium was steps away from the motel. Riverfront very nice. We will most definately stay here again, whenever in vicinity. Oh, and to top things off, rate was very reasonable.

This is in a great location for going to the Great American Ballpark, and the neighborhood has anything you need. The area restaurants and bars are great.

This hotel is close to everything i enjoy doing on the riverfront. About a 10 min walk from downtown and great american ballpark as well as across the street from the aquarium and mall. The staff is very friendly and my room is always clean. Best value for your money in cincinnati.

This is an older but clean Hotel. Can't beat the location and the staff is one of the best I've ever encountered.

“Great Location to Ball Park”

This hotel is clearly not the ritz, but you do get great value for your money. We were only in town for one night to see a baseball game on our way through. The location to the ballpark was great, a five minute walk across the bridge and you are back in OH. The room was a lot larger than I thought it would be, the internet connection was quick and uninterrupting, which I feel you find at a lot of other motels. The pool looked very clean and lots of people were enjoying it, we didn't have time. Only problem I found was that they turn off the mini fridge between customers, so it took quite a while for the fridge to get cold again, we ended up just filling up our cooler with ice and using that since we were only there overnight. I thought that being right off the bridge and a full hotel that I would never get to sleep, but the walls were a lot thicker than I thought.

“Enjoyable Stay!”

The location couldn't have been better for our needs. Walking to cincinnati was quick and easy with the walking bridge so close. Directly across from the aquarium as well. The rooms were in very decent condition. For the price, I wasn't disappointed in the least! Its no 5 star hotel of course, but it was perfect for what we wanted.

Simple hotel with all of the basics, but it's in a great location. More than worth it if you're just looking for a spot to sleep that's near downtown and many Newport attractions/restaurants. There's also a nice outdoor pool and patio area with grills. Perfect if you don't plan to spend much time in the room and want to have easy access to downtown Cincinnati, as there's a bridge right next to the hotel that's convenient for pedestrians.

“Great night's stay for the money”

Staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Was a little run down, but very clean. Beds are a little soft, but it's a great "no-frills" stay for the inexpensive rates. Location is excellent, walking distance to multiple points of interest/downtown Cincinnati. Keep this in mind if you're taking your family to the Newport Aquarium, if there is a show at US Bank arena, as you'll be staying with other concert-goers, so external noise could be an issue. Would definitely recommend to someone looking for lower price and cleanliness over luxury.
