“Enjoyable Stay!”

The location couldn't have been better for our needs. Walking to cincinnati was quick and easy with the walking bridge so close. Directly across from the aquarium as well. The rooms were in very decent condition. For the price, I wasn't disappointed in the least! Its no 5 star hotel of course, but it was perfect for what we wanted.

“Good Location and Value But Needs Updating”

This hotel was is walking distance (over the bridge) from the Reds Stadium and across the street from the Aquarium, Newport Levee attractions and riverboat restaurants. Beds were fine but bath and plumbing need updating. If you value convenience over comfort this is a good choice.

“Falling apart”

Location was great. The half a dozen hairs in the "clean" shower, the only secured with one nut toilet seat and two of the three lamps that didn't function were a bit unpleasant.

“Never again...”

What a filthy hole this is. The entire place smells of old, wet cigarettes. Saturday night is like a Belfast riot; noisy, drunken, disgusting people screaming all night and running through the halls. Even after returning home my clothes still smelled like old dead cigarettes. Never again!

“Great location if you don't care about the little things”

Smack dab right where we wanted to be--within walking distance of the Hofbrau Haus and the Great American Ball Park. We slept like a rock, and didn't really mind the not-so-soft beds and slim pillows. But if you're looking for comfort and quality over location, then shy away.

Newport is awesome--very convenient to get to, walk around, walk into Cincy. Cheaper parking and cheaper rates.

“Cincy trip”

Couldn't find tv remote. Got another at desk. Waited 1.5 hours for someone to program remote. Pillows about 2 inches thick.

“Best Price Best Location”

This is an older but clean Hotel. Can't beat the location and the staff is one of the best I've ever encountered.

“So-so”

VERY basic room. Staff was friendly and pleasant. Room was clean. Bathroom plug did not work nor did the refrigerator. Towels were pretty ragged looking - not just tired but actually frayed around the edges. Looked like towels I would use to clean the car with. Was at the low end of rates but have still done better for a basic room. If on a tight budget there are some better ones but this one is OK in a pinch.

“Great location, not such a great hotel”

Would not go back - hallways smelled like airfreshner, the bed was hard, and it was kind of dingy. Location was great though. Wouldn't stay again, would rather pay for a short taxi ride to a nicer hotel slightly farther away.
