The hotel is at a great location, just a short walk from Cincinnati. The room we had was a little run down and we woke several times during the night as the door kept banging against the frame whenever someone walked past in the hallway. Otherwise the room was fine.

Good hotel for the price

Pros: LOCATION!!! The location of this hotel was GREAT. We were able to walk to the Reds game, to the Newport Aquarium, and to the mall.
Cons: The free breakfast was kind of sad. The fruit was brown and the selection of food was slim. But it was free so I ate a bagel and cereal.
Location: SO MANY THINGS!! REDS GAMES, NEWPORT AQUARIUM, GAMEWORKS, OUTDOOR/INDOOR MALL, DUCK AQUATIC TOUR ON LAND AND WATER, RESTAURANTS, FUN FOR ALL AGES!!
I've read others' experiences which scared me a bit before I arrived at the hotel. Some may say it's in a rough part of town, but it's only a block away from Newport on the Levy (including Newport Aquarium and Gameworks, the mall, etc). The location is AWESOME if you're coming to Cincy for a Reds Game (we walked across the bridge to get there). I felt safe the entire time, and saw several other families with children walking along the same path as us. We chose this hotel based mostly on price and location, and it was worth it! The only two remarks I will advise you all about is 1- try to get a room NOT adjacent to the bridge. The traffic is a little loud, but I'm SURE if you room on the other side of the hotel, it wouldn't be a problem. Our room was on the corner, and we heard traffic through the night (still not a deal-breaker for us, though). 2- The complimentary breakfast is kind of sad. They have raisin bran, corn flakes, bagels, donuts, juice, coffee, and milk (which is SOMETHING, don't get me wrong). But given the awesome location of the hotel, you're VERY CLOSE to the great german-american breakfast restaurant (Katharina’s Cafe-- SO GOOD), and you're also close to several other restaurants that are very good. We didn't have kids with us, but I'd still choose this place, even if we did. The staff was very nice and helpful, the rooms were clean, and we enjoyed our stay there.

Room not great, but acceptable. Easy walk across bridge to Cincy ball park. Friendly staff. Convenient shuttle to Cincy downdown stops nearby.

Great location for city access.

The perfect spot for visit to sporting events. A beautiful view of city and short walk across river. Not too pricey or upscale but had what I needed for short one night stay. Some funky smells coming off of the carpet in the hallways. Smell was strongest around elevator area.

Continental breakfast horrible. Ran out if coffee, orange juice tasted like water. Practically no food. Phone in room out of order. Kinda smelly.

Close to Cincinnati and Newport attractions

Loved the waterfront view and proximity to attractions. The pool and courtyard were lovely. The rooms appeared clean, just quite outdated.

Nice Hotel close to the city

Awesome location, very close to Newport and Cincinnati. The wifi needs to be expanded, it has bad reception or none in some spots in the hotel

Close to downtown Cincinatti, but bed was not very comfortable and continental breakfast was pretty limited, even for a continental breakfast. What little food was available was stale. Two thin pillows and very loud refrigerator. The air conditioner blew the curtains, making it difficult to block out the sun in the early morning. But for a very short, one night stay, it was inexpensive and conveniently located.
