very clean hotel, courteous friendly staff, very helpful. Excellent breakfast. Hotel was right in the middle of town where the action is. Great experience just walking around, lots of souvenirs to bargain on and purchase.

Casa Mexicana is a fantastic hotel. Located near everything you want to do in Cozumel. It is one of the cleanest hotels I've stayted at in both the U.S. and Mexico. The free breakfast is wonderful. It has everything, fruit, dry cereal, hot cake, omletes, etc....The staff is friendly and helpful with anything you need.

“Better than expected”

This was our 4th time to Coz.This was the nicest hotel we've stayed in so far.Very clean and the staff was friendly and very helpful.The breakfast every morning was excellent.Made to order omlettes,pancakes and waffles plus lots of hot foods and fruits.The pool is tiny but we didn't care we were there to explore the island not swim laps.We will definitely stay here next trip to Cozumel.

Very nice hotel. They had trouble finding our reservations in the beginning, but after that everything was fine. Very clean, spacious rooms. Wireless internet throughout the hotel was very useful. Great breakfast buffet. Would definitely stay here again.

For those who want a comfortable hotel in a very convenient location, I would recomment Casa Mexicana. On the ocean location a plus, beautiful hotel. Full breakfast was bountiful and delicious, service was impecable. Go diving, rent a moped, go shopping - it's all at your doorstep.

“Will be back”

Casa Mexicana Cozumel was a wonderful hotel. When we arrived we were greeting by helpful staff member who took our bags. We were given cold towels to help us cool off since it was very hot and humid out. As I filled out the check-in paperwork, I was presented with a cool drink. Our room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. There was a rabbit made of towels (a new animal each day) sitting on our bed which was extremely comfortable with plenty of pillows. The bathroom was very clean with a standard size tub and shower. We didn't request a ocean view room but we were still able to see the ocean an cruise ships from our balcony. We could hear their horns when they pulled in to port and when they were leaving. I could have done without that. The hotel also sits on the main street which is very busy with shops and restaurants all around and the traffic can be heard from the room. Breakfast was served on the 2nd floor from 7-11 (we could also hear this from our room on the 4th floor as well). This was one of the best breakfast buffets I've ever had at a hotel. The made to order waffles and omelets were great (so was the fresh squeezed orange juice). There was always plenty of fresh sliced fruit available also. The pool was a disappointing (very small and maybe 3-4 feet deep). If other people are in the pool there is no room to swim. It is however shaded and it overlooks the ocean. I didn't eat dinner there but it looked tasty. Even with the noise, we will def come back.

Overall great expierience. Although Mexico needs to do something about the exhaust fumes from the cars. It bothers hotel guests and it is simply too much to be around forcing you to the quiet back side of the hotel. That is the only thing I did not like whcih the hotel cannot really control. Other than that all was clean and well done.

“Great Awsome Hotel for the Price!”

It was our first time at Cozumel and this hotel made a good impression. It was one of the cleanest hotel that I can imagine!! Staffs were friendly and the people at the front desk speaks english well. The furniture was nicely organized and spacious! The safety deposit box is free of charge (Not big enough to put a laptop). Oh yes, the morning buffet was great! The Pool is nothing big but enough for one to cool down from the heat. Bartender is a nice guy and the small bar they have was cozy. One slightly negative thign about the hotel is the slightly moldy smell from the AC. However, this is probably true with all the hotels since the humidity in the island is crazy!!
