“Best Value I have found”
I have stayed at several all-inclusive hotels in Cozumel. This one is the best I have found. The staff is accommodating and they always have plenty of staff on hand. The rooms are nicely appointed and always clean. The hotel is centrally located so getting to downtown shopping is an easy walk or a short taxi ride. The staff can arrange for most all you want to do right in the hotel. I will be back on my next trips.
“Cozumel Palace”
The presentation at the other resort was not explained very well at all including the transportation and duration. Offers promised to us were very difficult to get fulfilled. This created an unreasonable inconvenience that shouldn't have happened. And the staff was not willing to do anything "above and beyond" to make up for it. The food was very average. I heard another guest comment that it was very edible. That's a good description. The outside grille (Flamingo's) and room service had the best quality food of all of the dining options including the Sushi, Mexican, and dress-code required Italian restaurant. The entire resort was leaking when we arrived. It had been raining for 4 days straight, but still...having the majority of the visible staff running around with towels and mops like chickens with their heads cut off is not a good first impression at all. Overall, the staff is what made this resort great. They were exceptional.
“Exceeded Expectations”
Cozumel Palace was a great place to stay. The staff is friendly and the restaurant choices are excellent. The food is usually bland, but the overall quality and choices exceeded our expectations.
“"Was a great choice"”
It was our first time in Cozumel and our experience with the Palace was excellent. The staff was extremely courteous and the food was great. I highly recommend the Palace if your are staying on the island of Cozumel.
“Will definitely go back!”
This was our second time visiting this hotel and we were just as pleased with our stay this time as our first time. We booked a city view room, which was incredibly small, but we were able to get a room upgrade to a junior suite the next day. They have started doing a promotion with resort "credits" which allowed us to experience some snorkeling excursions for free. We also chose a steak and lobster dinner with the resort credit. It was actually very good, with a decent sized filet cooked the way we liked. The Italian themed restaurant and cuisine is superb! The staff is so friendly and we always tend to make friends with many of the hotel guests from many states. The snorkeling is fantastic right off of the hotel property! They even have flotation devices for people who just want to relax in the ocean.
“Great destination, incredible service staff!”
We went to the Cozumel Palace as a group of 6 with "kids" ranging in age from 14 to 22. Everyone had a great time. The staff is absolutely focused on ensuring you have fun and are there to answer questions or bring you whatever you want. We had resort credits and wanted to do the "romatic" lobster dinner but as a family; they obliged our request and set a beautiful family table for us and the meal was amazing. We were consistently impressed by the staff; our kids reminded me to tip! I have never felt inclined to tip much at all-inclusive resorts but the team at the Palace earned them. Each evening there is a show of some sort on the pool deck; I had always considered these things rather cheesy but the shows at the Palace were really fun. My wife and I used the on-site dive shop Aqua World and they obliged our request for a personal dive master at a very reasonable rate. The snorkeling at the hotel was more than I expected; we routinely saw Rays and lots of fish. Endless room service shrimp cocktails were a hit with everyone. Location is close enough to downtown for a walking shopping trip which we did. Felt totally safe; we never saw anything to concern us. We went to the grocery store immediately across the street a few times to buy toiletries and some awesome pastries. Get out and about; we had an amazing lunch downtown! Dolpin experience is close and fun, better than others we have done. We travel a fair amount and everyone considered this to our best vacation ever.
“Cozumel Palace”
Loved the hotel. Loved the location. Loved the service from the staff. Loved the all inclusive. Loved the food. Really!
“Very Impressed with the hotel”
I have only one complaint, the mexican food resturant was below par and very slow. It took us over an hour to get our food. In saying that the Italian, asian and the breakfast/lunch was wonderful. The staff was some of the best I have seen. Anything you asked for, they delivered. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
“The most amazing Honeymoon!!”
I cannot begin to tell you how impressed I was with Cozumel Palace. We chose the hotel from the excellent rating on Expedia and it did not dissapoint. From the cool towel and drink the moment you walked through the door, to the pool service, excellent food choices, and very attentive staff, our vacation was amazing from start to finish. The rooms are extremely clean, they restock the mini bar (which is included) and if you get the concierge package they leave you nightly petit fours which are to die for! If you are honeymooning, have an anniversary or even a birthday let them know when you are booking your room and they will do something special for you!! As honeymooners we got a mini cake a special dinner and a few other little things!! I also heard that for birthdays they come to your room with a cake and sing happy birthday (but I'm not entirely sure, since we were on our honeymoon.) The 1500 resort credits were amazing and we got to go on extra excursions. I highly recommend the lobster/steak dinner, probably the best steak I have had in a long time. I could not have asked for a better honeymoon. I suggest bringing $100 in ones to tip, the service the palace employees give is worth it! The only complaint I had was the weather was a bit rainy, but that is just a side note! If you are looking for somewhere relaxing, a great pool, the option for activities, and a close walk into town for shopping, etc, I HIGHLY recommend Cozumel Palace! We will be back!
“The most amazing experience EVER. Will definitely go back.”
My husband and I just got back from our honeymoon at Cozumel Palace and we were so amazed by our experience. The resort is so SAFE, all of the warnings about Mexico DO NOT apply to Cozumel Palace. The ROOMS are extremely clean and comfortable. The FOOD at each restaurant was so incredible and room service is included in the all-inclusive package. We recommend the "Romantic Dinner" option, as the steak and lobster were amazing, as was the setting. They have Chinese, Italian, and Mexican food options as well as buffet service for breakfast and lunch (all exceeded our expectations.) The HOTEL STAFF was courteous and helpful. We have never experienced such amazing service in our lives. Each person we talked to had a servant's heart and the desire to make our stay as safe and memorable as possible. The staff was honest in their recommendations, even telling us NOT to rent scooters on the island as they are not very safe. The dolphin adventure is right next door and totally worth it! Swimming with stingrays is a new option and was definitely one of our favorites! Making a private photo session seemed a little cheesy at first, but the pictures are so great, we are glad we did it! SOME THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR... bring some bug spray (*especially if you plan on using tanning oil) A MUST for going to Chankanaab Park! DO NOT touch the rope connecting the buoys. There is FIRE CORAL on it and it BURNS! *Staff doesn't expect tips, DO IT ANYWAY. They deserve it*
