Decent Hotel

Posted May 28, 2015
The hotel was not close to a beach. The pool was very nice. The room was small and while the wait staff at some of the restaurants was above average this cannot be said for all wait staff. When we asked to upgrade to a different room the person behind the desk was no help and had to send us to guest services. Then Arturo spent over thirty minutes with us going attempting to entice us to go to a breakfast and be sold the palace elite experience. Cozumel is beautiful and we will definitely go back but I we will not stay at this hotel in the future.

Perfect Island Escape

Posted May 21, 2015
Pros: The food, the staff, the location (walk to town AND jump right off the property's pier for snorkeling).
Cons: The building is a bit older, but it's impeccably clean and well maintained. The "kids club" was tiny and dark - I doubt I would have used it 4 my kids
Location: Close to downtown for shopping & the ferry terminal (for venturing to Playa del Carmen). On-site snorkling and diving; jeep rentals for exploring.
We just returned from a 5-night stay at the Cozumel Palace in Mexico. The staff, location, and amenities of this resort make it a top choice for those interested in snorkeling, diving, fishing, or just enjoying the ocean breezes. There are many hotels in Cozumel, but none with the special touch of the "Palace Family," who deliver service with a smile without fail. A shout out to the onsite dive shop, Aqua Safari, and to Gabriel in particular.

Cozumel Palace is an excellent place to stay!

Posted May 18, 2015
The Palace is the perfect combination of a typical all-inclusive and a smaller, higher-end hotel. It has all you would expect from an all-inclusive, but the service, food, drinks, and amenities are much better than the big chain all-inclusive resorts. The location is also a big plus.

Great experience

This is our second stay here, can not say enough about this place, what an experience, a year later the staff remembered us by name. Food great, relaxing atmosphere. This place makes you feel special, rooms have great views. Spa is very nice, resort credits are a plus in upgrading wines. If you are looking for an awesome experience this is it!! We are coming back next year.

Awesome!

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: Food, drinks, location, bedding, GIANT jacuzzi tub!
Cons: Resort credits are kind-of a joke....Consistency in housekeeping...
Location: Snrkel, dive, dive, dive.....
I really really liked this hotel and cozumel overall. The only issue we had is that they tried to give us two double beds instead of a king bed. Be aware that this could happen if you book on discount websites like this one. However we begged and they ended up giving us the king bed. Other than that we had no issues. Great food, beautiful accommodations, and I love being so close to the water. I think beaches are over-rated so I preferred the reef over the beach. Awesome!

Very small hotel grounds

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Food was very good.
Cons: Larger Pool area.
Location: Good location can easily walk to town.
We knew this was a small hotel when we booked but we did not realize how small. Pool was very small and crowded. No beach or grounds to walk around. Food and service was good. Rooms were nice. We were given two full beds at check in. After much complaining, we were told we might could get a king bed the next day. We were given a kid bed the next day, which was so much better. If you like to spend a lot of time by the pool or ocean, this is not the hotel for you.

Snorkeling without sand in nasty places

Posted Apr 18, 2015
Pros: The staff
Location: Little reason to leave the hotel if on a short trip, usual shopping a short walk away, plenty of excursions if you need them.
Easy access to pleasant snorkeling area, caring and attentive staff and good food

Best vacation ever

Posted Apr 12, 2015
This was our 4th vacation in an all-inclusive resort and our 3rd in Mexico (previous at Cancun and Puerto Aventuras). This was the best. The hotel is very relaxing. Service is steady and always accommodating. Room was fantastic (Oceanview with loft and balcony with hammock). Snorkeling in front of hotel almost as good as excursions. Highly recommend Cozumel Palace.

Great small all inclusive.

Posted Apr 2, 2015
My husband and I went for our 'baby moon' and had a really wonderful time. The room was amazing with the biggest two person jacuzzi tub and a balcony overlooking the ocean. Daily breakfast room service, a friendly staff and excellent food made for a wonderful trip!
