“Especially for Divers”

This was our second trip to Casa del Mar: last year we met some great people while diving with the affiliated Del Mar Aquatics so this year we went back and joined them again for an excellent week of diving. We stayed in the two story cabanas for an upgrade fee. They are amazingly spacious with two bathrooms and a kitchen (we were after the refrigerator). This is a dive hotel, perfect for our needs. The hotel is small, very clean, with a nice little pool and beach area. If you are looking for a resort style vacation and nightlife, plan to take a taxi to town every night or just choose elsewhere. The restaurant is small but with great staff. A limited menu that we knew off by heart from last year, but really good basic food.

We had a great time at Casa del Mar Cozumel, get the cabana if you have the opportunity! What a delight when we walked in and the bar/pool was so relaxing. The staff was very accommodating, arranging taxi's, pointing out the best places.

This hotel was great! They rooms open to a courtyard and the restaurant is amazing! Some of the best prices around and the seafood platter was excellent! Also if you have your own wine they will open it for you or you can bring it with you to dinner. The room was very clean and the staff was very nice. Its walking distance to town, which is great for getting groceries or shopping. I would stay there again, but if your looking for a hotel on the beach this is not the place. Otherwise it was perfect.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Casa Del Mar and would stay there again. It is a very clean and comfortable hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms were of a Mexican style with tiles on the floor and shower and warm colors. Not all the rooms had safes and refrigerators were not available in the regular rooms. The restaurant had good strong coffee, great chips and salsa and good food. It was not an all inclusive and that allowed us to eat where we wanted. The price was great and allowed us to save money for other fun activities.

Not on the beach,actually across the street. good view from superior room with balcony of ocean & pool.Open air resteraunt & bar. great food especially breakfast buffet.Close to town cheap taxi ride. Nice beach available with free shuttle to sister property.Small mini stores on either side of hotel for supplies.

“Great Escape”

We have stayed at this hotel every year for the past seven years, and we love it! The hotel is delightful, wonderfully clean and well maintained, and the staff is wonderful!
