I have stayed at Hotel Cozumel for over 15 years multiple times every year. I have always been satisfied with the how I was treated like family by the staff. However, if I’m put in a handicap room again, when I am not handicapped and the hotel is not full I will not come back and I will seek out a new place to stay. This has happened in December 2023 and April 2024. I have always felt safe here and I’ve always felt safe walking several miles every day.

We had a lovely stay here for 2 weeks. The food was excellent, just opt for the fresh food which is cooked on the grill and you wont be disappointed. I loved having a freshly made omelette everyday. It's super close to town, 30 minute walk or 5 minute drive, so it was close to all the essential things. What holds me back putting on anymore stars is that the whole hotel is a bit tired and could do with a refurb. The towels could do with being changed too. However, for a lower end of the market cost hotel it was great value and we had a wonderful time.

Not many food choices. Limited activities. Good for older couples looking to relax but its basically just a hotel with a pool. The rooms are outdated. We had 2 rooms (6 people) one rooms bathtubs paint was peeling and corroding. The curtains were stained, had to ask for towels to be replaced 3 out of the 7 days we were there. They would take the towels when cleaning the room and leave us with nothing or less than needed.the staff was friendly and tried to be as helpfull as possible

The resort is an older one. Looks like they are starting to update it. I would consider it a 3 star, as opposed to the 4.5 it is listed under. Most of the rooms are 2 double beds (even if you book 1 king). Food is ok, not horrible, but not amazing either. However the staff are great, and they have free snorkeling equipment and a great place to do it right outside the resort. This is a place scuba divers love . It seems to be a hub for them. If you are there for the Ocean more than the resort it might be perfect for you!

We come twice a year. Most f the staff know us and we look forward to seeing them. Awesome selection of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bartender Daniel stays Very busy. The floor drains in our room (1215) would backup and stink. I believe staff at the desk don’t unstand English very much. I always request certain rooms and its like "Sorry can't help You". When I make my reservation 6 months in advance I don’t understand why my requested room isn't available to me but available to someone else in my group behind me in line?

Our safe didn’t work. The air conditioner only blew in one direction and was loud. There were a lot of intoxicated people. Should have looked into it better. Had to walk a fair distance. Juanita, David and the guy at bingo was nice tho.

I find it strange that having a paramedic service and a guest service desk at the hotel, we have not received any reports of guests with any illness or disease. We are always very careful with the quality and freshness of our food, as we are constantly evaluated and audited by authorities at all levels of government, as well as internationally on hygiene measures, both staff and food and beverages offered in the establishment, which is why we have the badges that endorse us as a hygienic and sanitized place in every way; I do not omit to say that even our staff is constantly monitored on health issues, which is why in health issues we have not had any problems. In any case, we thank you for your attention regarding this matter, which we will forward to the departments involved, in order to give the corresponding follow-up.Kind regards!

We weren't too happy with our experience booking We booked an all inclusive vacation and when arriving in Cancun didn't have transportation Everytime we have booked with other sites with all inclusive vacations, everything is taken care of including transportation from the airport to the hotels We arrived in Cancun and realized that and called expedia and were informed its not included We had to take an hout bus ride, then a ferry just to get to our hotel at midnight and they had nothing open for us to even have a meal All expenses for the bus ,the ferry back and forth twice was surprising and never had to do this before We need expedia customer service to resolve this matter as we have booked our recent trips twice prior and are very disappointed My wife is very unhappy with the experience San and Nhu

If you are looking to relax, eat great food, have a clean room, nice staff, feel safe leaving and walking around, snorkel or dive, this is your place. Your are not going to have late nights, lots of people running around nor loud noises. This place met all our needs and was the most relaxing time we've had. Pools had so many seats, the beach snorkel area was spacious, and the whole resort is clean and very authentic. WE WILL BE BACK!

Lovely staff. Pretty good dining. Drink selection for the all-inclusive was very reasonable. Close to town. Having the attached beach club and scuba centre was the highlight as was the ability to snorkel right from the resort beach.

It was quiet and well staffed. Food was plenty full and well prepared but never hot enough. The location is awesome with beautiful views of the water, but the outside area while kept clean, didn’t present well, it is not a beautiful place, but I went for a quiet holiday. I hope to go back again when it has been remodeled

The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is laid back, the food is very good, and the grounds are very nice, indeed. The value for money relationship is excellent. The one thing that needs improving are the shower heads. From what we heard from other guests, they just don't, as ours didn't. Other than that it's really a great hotel in a prime location for a very reasonable price.

We stayed at this "all inclusive" while getting scuba certified. The location is great. The rooms and buildings are quite dated. There were no blackout curtains so we had to close the hurricane shutters to make the room dark at night. Food was ok, but not of the quality or variety you would find at the larger all inclusives you will find in Playa or Cancun. Dining hours are limited. Front desk staff was nice, but the rest of the service was mediocre - there were no towels in either of our rooms on checkin, and the pool ran out of towels. Overall, no regrets for using this as a base for our diving in Cozumel given the price, but I wouldn't choose it for an all inclusive resort.

Overall it was a great stay. The resort could be a lot nicer with some renovations. The area was safe. The room was clean but very outdated. It would be very helpful if the staff had a refresher on hospitality. We had to figure everything out on our own, diner, events, how to rent snorkel gear. We spent a day walking across the busy street when we later found out that there is a tunnel under the road that you can walk under to get to the beach. If nothing else it would be helpful for the staff type up a simple summary of how to navigate the resort.

Very very limited dining and one of the 2 main restaurants was across the street. They were only open one at a time. We never knew from one meal to the next if it was on the resort or across the street. Food was average at best. Wait staff were good and did their best. If you are going and only need a place to strictly sleep, this might be a good choice. You get what you pay for. There is no beach and the water where you can get in is pretty deep right off the bat. The pool was very large and well maintained. Snack bar was only open limited hours. Good drinks. Location wasn't ideal for any type of shopping or entertainment. Once again, you get what you pay for. Lots of scuba folk were staying there because of the proximity to scuba areas. Bathtub wasn't clean and no washcloths available. TV was not much larger than the size of a laptop screen.

Hotel staff is amazing and very helpful. The Hotel is approximately 5 mins away from the ferry in taxi. The hotel is outdated and the rooms are spacious but can also use some renovations. For the price you’re paying it is more than enough, Would visit again.

This is not a proper beachfront property-it has a man made beach. The property is super outdated. The food was not great. And the cold drinks were never blended properly! (only once by Kiera). They had an inspection and all of sudden none of the food options listed were available until almost an hour later. Housekeeping cleaned everything but the floors. For a place where there is sand and pool water, a sweep/quick mop of the floors was necessary. If you are big into diving, this the place for you. Otherwise, find somewhere else to stay and definitely don't do the all inclusive.

The staff at the property were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms need updating and general maintenance throughout. The food was a tremendous disappointment with 6 individuals getting food poisoning, ultimately missing several days of diving/recreation. Unsure if I would stay again after three consecutive years.

Service was excellent. Our fav was Keira who was a server and bartender. She made our trip so amazing. Daniel in the bar, in the lobby was excellent as well. Breakfast was very good. The rest of the food was average. Could use one more restaurant and theme nights every night. No dresser in our room as they were renovating. They made it right by giving us a table and chairs and lots of hangers. They should be stocking fridge with beer, water and soda. I’d like real glasses in the rooms. They charge $5 for room service which shouldn’t happen. Over all a very good stay!

Loved the location and water.. went snorkeling at the sea wall located by the restaurant.. hotel has great updated rooms great pool staff and check in was fast.. definitely will be back again.. the dirty monkey drink was awesome

This was a great location for sightseeing and just relaxing. The food and rooms are not highend or fancy, but are such a great value. There was a friendly atmosphere from guests and staff.
