The 4-story Melia Cozumel, whose yellow 12-story tower is visible for miles, offers a wide range of facilities, services, and activities. A children's center entertains with beach and pool games, plus quieter arts and crafts. Snorkeling lessons, dance and Spanish classes, water aerobics, and beach volleyball are among the various daytime activities available. Every night, the resort's activities/entertainment staff presents a show on the stage of the indoor theater. After the show, the theater transforms into a nightclub.

The lobby features complimentary wireless Internet access in public areas. A health-and-beauty spa offers saunas, steam rooms, body and facial treatments, and hair and nail care (surcharges). Massage is available indoors or outdoors (surcharge). Resort shops sell jewelry, handcrafts, clothing, beach wear, and souvenirs.
