Fabulous location and Great for familiesPosted Nov 30, 2013
We had a great time at this hotel. On the shuttle drive from the airport to the hotel, I became anxious as we drove through the crowded streets dropping folks off at dated looking facilities but then our shuttle drove up to the Presidente and my fears drifted away. It was removed from the busyness of Cozumel and was very private and safe. We left only once during our 6 day stay. The food, while expensive, was very good. We liked the fact there was a kids' menu for our children to choose from; however, adding a taco and rice/beans would be a nice addition on that menu as my children grew tired of french fries by the end. The room was comfortable. The property was quite (one of the perks to going in November). The snorkeling was fabulous. Our daughter, who is 5, was able to have a great first snorkeling experience in the little lagoon/beach area there on the property. The last day we were there it was windy and cold but our kids were completely satisfied to play in the heated family pool. We had a few hiccups but nothing major. Overall we were satisfied and would consider returning.

Wonderful Hotel Right on the BeachPosted Nov 10, 2013
Pros: Spacious hotel rooms, free WIFI, right on the beach, excellent dive shop, waiter service on the beach.
Location: Cozumel is a great island that can easily be explored. I recommend driving to any of the Mayan ruins, stopping at Bob Marley's and Coconuts for drinks
This was my 4th trip to Cozumel, and this hotel was the best. The food was excellent. The staff was super friendly. The dive shop was top notch. The accommodations were very comfortable and very clean. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay in Cozumel!

EXCELLENT CHOICE!!!Posted Oct 23, 2013
Cons: Everything was perfect.
I was looking for a hotel that was not all-inclusive because I feel they sometimes cut corners with food and drinks. This hotel surpassed my expectations in every way. Our room was spacious and furnished with all the little extras from the flowers and greenery each day, right down to the beach bag and towels. Our room had direct beach access out our patio door with a beautiful view of the ocean. The hotel staff bent over backwards to make sure our every request was met and were very friendly and helpful at all times. When it came time for excursions and venturing out, they were very instrumental in making sure we found the right agenda for our group. The food and drinks were above average and much more personal than an all-inclusive resort. My compliments to the hotel staff and a great big thanks for helping us make a memory that will last a lifetime.

There is no better place to stay if you go to Cozumel. The hotel is perfect and you can do all the activities from the hotel.

Great HotelPosted Oct 12, 2013
Pros: Snorkeling, staff, grounds, food
This was my second stay at the Presidente. What a wonderful resort. I will continue to come here because I love the rooms, the pools, the staff, the snorkeling area, and the food. This time I stayed in a Reef Room which was such a wonderful experience. I enjoy being able to take a few steps across a lovely beach and start snorkeling. At the house reef I saw a 5-ft stingray, a few flamingo tongues, stone fish, and a large variety of cute, colorful fish. I'll be back in December!

Beach room so who could ask for morePosted Oct 8, 2013
Only mild to moderate complaint is the internet service leaves something to be desired. Hard to get a solid connection for any extended period of time! Otherwise, hotel ammenities and staff were beyond any expectations. We continue to return to Presidente because it is truly a vacation.

Quiet beautiful hotel with nice small beachPosted Aug 25, 2013
Stayed for one week and dove 5 days with Aldora divers. One of the nicer hotels we have ever stayed at. Staff was excellent and went out of there way to ensure a great experience. Best for couples though did see some families. Food a little pricey but was very high quality. Can't really say anything negative and plan to return in the future.

ParadisePosted Jul 31, 2013
The staff as always is pleasant and extremely accommodating. We upgraded our room at check in with no problem. We asked for candles and extra robes with not a blink of the eye.... it was done. The food is amazing whether you are eating on the beach or in one of the gorgeous restaurants. Fitness facilities were clean, cool and hosted all of the amenities needed. We rented a car onsite and when we mentioned that we were going to fill the tank before returning it we were told not to worry about it....and it was handled. The people of Cozumel are just as wonderful and we LOVE the paradise the island offers.

Laid back resort with beautiful ocean viewPosted Jul 19, 2013
Pros: Location (close to town but great slice of the beach), the staff, the overall ambiance, the type of travelers it attracts.
Cons: They were working on construction of a new restaurant that will be a great addition to the property.
Location: Close to everything and the concierge can arrange diving, taxis to restaurants, jeep rentals, parasailing, etc.
This hotel is older but nicely maintained. The front desk and concierge were very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff was amazing. We originally had a room on the first floor with a wall for a view. After a couple of days of asking to move to a different room, the concierge named Sophia was able to make alternative arrangements for us. We moved to a room with a great view and we were pleased. The resort was uncrowded and peaceful. Families, couples, divers stayed there. It was nothing like all-inclusive resorts that are cheesy and touristy. I could walk a couple hundred yards from our room across the sand beach to the restaurant on the water in the morning and have coffee and read the paper with a 180 degree view of the ocean. I was definitely NOT ready to leave after 8 days.
