Nice old fashioned Mexican hotelPosted Mar 31, 2015
Pros: location, atmosphere, price, maids,
Cons: a safe in each room, better shower pressure
Location: very convenient, a lot of good places to eat around, heard church bell,
I think they upgraded our room to a suite. We had a small kitchen which was very nice since we could boil water to have a cup of tea any time we wanted. House keeping ladies are the nicest people there. Front desk was O.K. There was no safe in the room or at the front desk although the hotel description said that a safety box was located at the front desk. The hotel was very safe. Breakfast at Casa Mexicana was a nice touch.

Great location 1/2 block from the squarePosted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: Location and cleanliness
Cons: Fridge in room
Location: Many little shops and restaurants nearby (Le Chef 3 blocks away - great italian restaurant)
Hotel is situated 1-2 blocks from the waterfront. Great location right near the square. Rooms are super clean and fairly large. Staff was friendly and kept our luggage before we checked in (we arrived early) and after we checked out (our plane left later in the day). Only thing missing was a refrigerator. Definitely would stay again!

$50 Dollar a Night RefrigeratorPosted Mar 15, 2015
Checked in to room 110. No refrigerator in room. Websites, including theirs, list refrigerator in each room. When I asked to move to a similar room with refrigerator, hotel less than one half full, told it would be an extra $50.00 per night, which would be more than rack rate for room in sign on desk. When pointed out listing to manager, they could not have cared less. Hence evaluation. I have pictures.

Got a better room than what I bookedPosted Jan 12, 2015 on Hotels.com
We were given a room in their sister hotel, it was a nice room with a balconly facing the sea. I was there without kids so there was no need for any kitchenetts, in which this hotel did not have, so it was ok. I can't rate the suites colonial as I did not get the room there, but I was a block away from it. It is in a great location right on the main street and many restraurants next door

Consumer stayPosted Jan 8, 2015 on Hotels.com
The sister hotel where we had breakfast was great. Finding the hotel was difficult due to the street in front was ripped up and under construction. Also there was no HOTEL SIGN!!! We relied on the locals to steer us in the right direction. The hotel itself was nice. Had to ask for a glass just to brush our teeth.Too bad

Very large comfortable room!Posted Jan 4, 2015
Cons: I requested early check in as I arrived at 10am; however I was not accommodated. I dropped off luggage and continued to a beach club.
Location: About three minutes walking from the ferry pier. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. A great club with fabulous music was a quarter block away.
The hotel is within walking distance of the ferry, about three minutes, even with luggage. Construction is taking place on the street so access was a little tricky to navigate with luggage. Staff spoke decent English and friendly. My room 111 was one of the largest I've ever stayed in while travelling. Clean room, bed was comfortable, I had a round table and chairs, huge bathroom, ceiling fan over the bed, lots of lights, and a large floor length mirror by the door which was handy. Breakfast is included at their partner hotel Casa Americana two blocks away. While it sounds far, it's a full service breakfast which is a nice touch. I did not use the outdoor pool but front desk staff at the Casa Americana informed me I would have access to it. Another nice touch.

sugerencia para mejorarPosted Dec 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
Muy buen servicio, muy cómodo y muy limpio, tal vez seria muy bueno si ofrecieran botellas de agua en la habitación y cambiar los aparatos del clima pues ya son muy viejos y hacen mucho ruido, por lo demás muy buen servicio.

Great breakfastPosted Dec 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
Breakfast was in the other hotel and it was great, especially omelets. Air conditioner was old, very noisy and ear bugs is needed, but it cooled well. Hotel was very near to ferry port and was to access, even street of the hotel was under construction.
