“beautiful room and location”
great stay! love the location
“Had a nice stay”
The new manager was very pleasant to work with
“Great Linens!”
Room was very large, comfortable and the linens were great! Hallways could use some updating. Staff was very accomodating and pleasant.
“Good Quality for the Cost”
My wife and I booked our accommodation a couple of months before we travelled. The accommodation provided was exactly as we had booked it. Both the evening and morning receptionists we dealt with were pleasant and knowledgeable. The lobby, hallways and room were clean and tidy. Adequate amenities (towels, shampoo, soap, etc.) were provided. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant had closed down but the staff directed us to an excellent reasonably priced restaurant only 2 blocks away. A very pleasant experience and we would do it again.
“cheap and cheerful”
hotel being renovated, but the part of the hotel has been done to a reasonable standard just needs a bit more in bathroom a bit dated nice and clean, staff could not do enough for you, and for a change in canada ,they do provide a continental breakfast which was nice
“Pleasant hotel”
Great hotel. Very professional hotel management. Close to downtown shops and restaurants. Short drive to ski hill.
“It was okay”
The Kimberly Inn sits on the main road, kittycorner to the wonderful beautiful character main street of a Bavarian city street. Very nice enjoyable walk. Friendly town. Next door to hotel is a Shoppers Drug Mart. Upon friendly helpful check in, I was told that front and back doors are locked at 11pm, but you get another key to let yourself in if it is locked. Very small parking lot in the back. I had to park on the street about 1/2 block up and we rolled our suitcases up to the staircase and then had to lift them up the stairs. Carpeting on the stairs was ragged and torn. No elevator. Felt dumpy. Room was clean but small. Bathroom door did not lock. Wonderful strong water pressure for shower. Restaurant in hotel not available on Mondays, not included in price of room. (We stayed a Sunday night - menu looked delicious and we were looking forward to it; disappointed, ate in the city center, (was very delicious there, no complaints.) Room faced to the back parking lot - seemed to be noisy all the time with people out there smoking. I guess for the price it was decent, but I wouldn't stay there again.
“Kimberley Inn”
You need to update your web-site data on this facility. It is no longer called the Kimberley Inn. It is now the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites.
“Good GM”
I had written a previous review based on the fact that due to weather I couldn't make my reservation and the lady at the desk didn't handle it very good. After making a compliant, the GM Rakesh called me personally and offered a solution. This changes my previous view of the hotel and its staff. With a GM who cares enough to call a person personally, this is a hotel I would like to give a second chance to, and will.
“Not worth the money”
This hotel is under extreme renovation and as been bought by Econo Lodge. The restaurant and bar were closed and the exercise room also closed the complementary breakfast was pity full no one manned the front desk the only good thing was my room was clean and quiet not a very good deal for the money
