Great Get Away!

Posted Feb 18, 2015
What a great valentines weekend. Remote but not far from ameneties (tons of golf courses in the area and Kimberley ski resort is about 20 mins away. Cranbrook is about 10) with plenty to offer on site (golf course though not in season, lounge and restaurant, casino, outdoor pool and 2 hot tubs, sauna and steam room). Absolutely fantastic service. Always a smile and hello. Food was incredible, and reasonably priced. Main building is gorgeous even in winter but would be infinitely more so when the vines are green and the flowers are out. Room was gigantic, really rediculously so. If i had to nitpick my complaints are; the heater/air conditioner was a bit loud, the towels in the room were weirdly small and the carpets in the hall are starting to age... overall a great experience I would (and already have) recommend highly!

Will not stay and recommend here.

Although the staff were friendly and helpful, I won't be back because this is a really old hotel and over priced.

Hotel review

Posted Nov 9, 2014
The hotel is very quiet and clean but over all I must say not worth $129 & tax per night. Limited TV channels, no microwave although I requested one. I can stay at the Trickle Creek Lodge (in Kimberley, 20 min away) for $40 less and have a 1 bedroom suite with a full kitchen. I just don't feel that the cost reflects the value.
