Ok if you are ok with smokers and truckers

Posted Jul 26, 2015
Hotel was ok . Just not expecting all of the other guests to no on the balconies smoking and semi trucks pulling in and out in the night Not a great choice for small kids. Hotel should state that semi drivers and smokers predominate

Most of the hotels in Oregon are non smoking now forcing smokers to stand outside unfortunately we do advertise truck parking though I am sorry you were disturbed.

What the picture shows is NOT what you get.

Posted Jul 18, 2015
Pros: It was close to where I was spending the day.
Cons: Only show pictures of the room being rented that are the actual pictures of the room being rented.
Location: I don't have time for this. This is the 2nd request I've filled out for you about my experience already.
The picture shows an up to date room with king size bed and a soaking tub in the room. The room is NOTHING like the room in the picture. It's your very average room, that though clean was shabby and smelled like old cigarettes, probably because of the carpet, that was old, but in decent condition. Upon entering you notice that the chest of drawers the tv sits on top off is missing the top drawer. The coverings for the bed are very thin and old. The bed itself is awful. The staff told be that the queen beds had been replaced, but I had a king and it was one of the worst beds I've ever slept in. Deep, concave spaces on both sides of the bed. The freezer in the frig had no door and the frig was not very cold (my cooler was just as good) and it made a loud hum when it was kicking in. It was so irritating that I unplugged it and put everything in my cooler. The tv remote had no guide option and so you couldn't tell what was on all those channels. The bathroom was totally fine and clean, but it wasn't the soaking tub shown in the picture. That was a bummer for me, because I was walking a lot in the day time and wanted to come home and soak and watch the tube, but it didn't happen. I don't rent motel rooms much, but I will do a lot more research the next time. I won't be checking in to Super 8 again.

I am sorry your stay was snot what it should have been . All of our rooms are advertised as what they are maybe you were given a different type that you booked and if so I am sorry I will make sure that does not happen again. We are doing a lot of updating to the motel already have new locks and mattresses and there is more to come

Excellent Super 8 in the Willamette.

Pros: The people who worked there and the cleanliness.
Cons: The pillows.
Location: Not a lot to do in this small town but a good jump off point for were we went.
Except for noisy neighbors who left at 3:00 am; wonderful stay for my wife, myself and our chow dog. Staff was nice and helpful. Room and parking lot was clean and though we did not use the pool it looked clean and inviting. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Never again

Posted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: Location.
Cons: WIFI !!!! Housekeeping.
Location: Good Restaurant next door.
Just wrote a big review condemning the WIFI which is essential for my business and the housekeeping, but as usual the WIFI booted me off AGAIN! Don't know if the last one even went through. WIFI is painful here! Housekeeping sparse and not complete.

Just Ok...Won't be back

Pros: Cost
Cons: Attitude of staff, normal breakfast hours, working doors and locks, cleaner grounds, better beds and pillows
Location: Right in front is an AM/PM, diner/bar and a drive-thru coffee shack. On the other side of the freeway is a Dairy Queen with drive-thru open to 11pm.
Chose this hotel because of price during a busy weekend in the area. Other, nicer hotels, were priced much higher than normal, so I tried this one. I would have rather paid extra for the nicer places. Checking in late (around 11pm) and the guy at the desk wasn't too friendly. I even had to ask him how to find my room because he was done with me when he handed me the door keys. The grounds were dirty and run down. The door wouldn't close right unless we slammed it, so some people might think it's closed when it's not when they leave. The bathroom door wouldn't lock, either. The beds and pillows felt cheap, but ok. They have the old, tube-style tv's which isn't a big deal, but it just goes along with how out of date everything else was. Breakfast ended at 9am on a Sunday. Really? Needless to say, we didn't wake up early to make it for that. The second day the keys decided to not work any more. Had to go to the front desk and have them re-program the keys. I didn't go in the pool, but it looked clean enough. There is an AM/PM right next door which makes snacks and getting gas easy. There's a diner/bar next door, too, but we didn't go there. There is a small drive-thru coffee shack right outside, too.

Cons: If they are changing out their TV system, wait until all the parts are there.,
I had to change my reservations as we extended and the one room we had was not available the next night so we changed and then find out when we get into our room that the remote control won't work with the TV> May not seem like much but I don't sleep well and I am awake at night and getting up and down from bed is not my idea of a good room. To Say nothing about disturbing my husband. They then offered to let up change rooms the next day. Duh............Not.
