One night stay, staff polite and keen to help, hotel was clean and spacious - quiet ambience. Certainly somewhere to relax. Room was nice, comfy bed - slept well. Flip side of the peaceful venue is that the location is a little isolated, you need a car or be prepared to pay £13.00 for breakfast - which I wasn't.
Overall, good value room rate, definitely stay here again - thanks.

A Grand drive and beautiful historic building is what greets you as you drive through the gates.
We booked online and achieved a good value deal. Our bedroom was in the newly built section and the room was fine. There is enough parking on site as not to worry if you go out for the day and arrive back in the evening.
We used the Brasserie for our 2 night evening meal and the main courses were excellent. The dessert was ok but decided that they did not compare to the standard of the main dishes. The restaurant was quite busy but the staff were on the ball and handled the volume very well. We ate earlier on the second night and the food was served much quicker.
Breakfast was adequate (except the scrambled eggs) and again the staff covered everything well.
There is a good sized gym and a good sized swimming pool and not too busy.
If we go back to the area we would book again.

We booked through Expedia on morning of departure and got an excellent deal. Our teenagers were camping at nearby Somerford Park equestrian centre and as it was my birthday we thought we'd have a rare night away! The hotel looks lovely from the outside (I understand it is an ex mental health facility!). Our room was in the new wing but was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It was very clean. The only small bugbear was that the walls were very thin and I could hear our neighbour coughing...
We used the pool and steam room etc which were clean and well equipped. The staff were all very polite and pleasant.
I think as we were staying on a Sunday night it was quieter than if there had been a wedding or lots of business customers.
The breakfast was great too!!

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room ( for my two night stay) was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I was at the end of the corridor so it was quiet. There was a good choice of food for breakfast.

We enjoyed an overnight stay at this farmhouse B&B at the beginning of January. The owner (Anne) was very welcoming and friendly and really made you feel at home. There's only 4 rooms so its a small intimate place and in my opinion a much better option than a faceless chain. Our twin bedroom had everything you would expect and the added bonus of biscuits and hot chocolate with the usual tea and coffee.
Breakfast is fantastic - I believe it has won awards! - and really sets you up for the day. Highly recommended.

Stayed for one night, last minute booking. Hotel is nice enough, but they've got the decor all wrong. An impressive Victorian hotel on the outside, on the inside you find it's been painted with pastel colours and given a minimalist setup. That jars with the layout of the place. It should look like as it was intended to look in the Victorian era: packed with warm colours, lots of pictures and furniture. My room was ok, spacious, therefore a bit cold so an electric heater was included. If you're a trainspotter then my room overlooking the station would be ideal. If hearing trains go past isn't you thing then this is not the place for you.

Predominantly known as a railway town, Crewe's history stems from its importance as a major junction and rail engineering base. The town is still fantastically connected and is a frequent stop for travelers heading to the Northwest of the UK. The expansive Queen's Park is a fine area for locals and visitors alike, featuring a lake with boat hire, an outdoor gym, and a golf course.
