Awful and overpriced

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Let people know that it is a motel for workers on the Mine and it needs to be cleaned up, updated and safe.
Location: We did a bike ride in Florissant and the scenery was beautiful. The area of Cripple Creek is beautiful.
We were unaware that it was a motel mainly for workers on the mine. It was loud with traffic, the workers kept us up all night with partying and crudeness. Office staff was gone about 6:00 and no one to help. The cost of 95.00 per night was way over priced with no amenities. Not even a blow dryer. The room was dirty with dog hair on the sheets and the walls were filthy. Mattresses were lumpy and sagging. If we had paid $35.00 a night we might have gotten our monies worth. But even at that we would not stay there for free. We left before 6:00 a.m. just to get out of there and come home to get some sleep. I found out later that around the corner was a very nice motel for less.

Pros: Quietness
Cons: Someone manning the front desk better
Location: Its Cripple Creek....gambling and shopping
It was a very quite hotel with great staff. Even though it seems like there is only one employee. It was very quiet at night.
