The room had old carpet that was coming apart at entrance tile in sink area. The phone did not work - no dial tone. Was told it had been this way for a long time & that management was notified and did nothing to correct problem. Asked employee to help me with the tv remote- he was very helpful. No soap at sink or on bath tub - had to ask at front desk. 1/2 roll of toilet paper, no spare role. Breakfast: not many options. When coffee gone (gone before 8 am) was told to use single serve coffee machine. Minimal napkins. Nice staff - not given tools to do better job.

When I arrived my room had no towels and the volume on the TV was not working. I went to the front desk to let them know and they said that I will have to wait an hour to get towels and have someone look at my tip TV because that’s when management will be in, the front desk clerks are not allowed to issue out any towels to the guest. 30 minutes before check out someone knocked on the door, stating they were housekeeping. They wanted to know when I will be checking out of the room. 20 minutes later I get another knock on the door asking if I was going to stay an extra day. I felt like they were rushing me to get out there. This place also has bedbugs!!! do not, I repeat, DO NOT stay here! Otherwise you will have unwanted critter guests traveling with you back home.

Thank you for being our guest. I am sorry about the confusion or misunderstanding regarding the towels and I will make sure that doesn't happen any further. However, as a business and a human being I do not appreciate your outlandish lie stating the motel had bed bugs. This is absolutely false and defamation towards the motel. You have absolutely no proof of such, you never reported anything to motel staff. You only called it out in your post review only to take a jab at the motel because you were upset over an issue with some towels. We use one of the top-notch pest control companies in this region, they service almost every motel/hotel in my region from the Super 8 to Hilton brand hotels. So, I absolutely place my trust in them in knowing my motel has no bed bugs. Again, I apologize for the lack of towels in your room at check in but it does not give you the sole right in being malicious in your intent to defame my business. I always like to welcome guests back to the Super 8 Motel Kington, Tn, however, you sir may take your business elsewhere. We like serving folks with a little class and you lack that. Good day.

Being next to busy hwy I thought it would be loud but it’s tucked away just far enough not to be bothered by road noise… Very welcoming feeling home away from home cozy…. Only one complaint and that’s personal preference the beds are HARD….

If you’re on a budget it is ok. Toilet flushes only if you hold it for the entire cycle. Lights flicker, more electricity you use, more often it happens. Breakfast is pre packaged stuff, cereal bananas and old looking apples. Very minimal. Older motel but if you’re just going to sleep, price is fine

I apologize for the toilet flushing slowly. We are trying to find a resolution in fixing this problem. I hate that you found our breakfast minimal. We go way above and beyond the brand requirements for breakfast. Our apples are bought daily from our local grocery store. I assure you they were not old. Thank you for being our guest. The lights flicker from the ghostly creatures haunting us around here. They pay their rent so don't say much.

This is a nice hotel. It is clean, convenient, quiet, and a good price. Breakfast is continental+. The lobby is vey homey and nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

The room was dirty. The sheets were dirty. The t.v. And refrigerator did not work. The towel had holes in them. My friend got bit by something in or on the bed. It was the worst room ever.

The room smelled. Obviously, someone had smoked in there and tried to mask the smell with some type of air freshener or cleaner. It did not work, only added an extra smell.

Thank you for being our guest. I apologize for the smoke odor in your guest room. We would have gladly made other accommodations had it been brought to the attention of the motel. We have a strict nonsmoking policy regarding smoking in a non-smoking room. We also adequately clean the room and sanitize the air in the room with an ozone machine. Unfortunately, we failed to complete proper protocol and I am sorry. Again, thank you and have safe travels.

We liked that it was close to the water and we spent a lot of time along the lake. We liked that there was fast food nearby and a good breakfast so we didn't have to get back on the road. The staff was always helpful and friendly, and the rooms were clean and mostly updated. The only downside: our toilet would not flush. The office staff gave us a plunger but we needed it every time. Please get a plumber in so other guests will have near-perfect experiences. Oh, another plus were the cheery signs in the lobby and the living room like, cozy feel. Very inviting--Couch, chair, etc. Thank you for wlecoming us to Kingston (a town we lived in for 30 years but had to move from 16 years ago when we retired.)

Room was clean and recently updated. Bed very comfortable. Location great - right off I-40. Easy access. Front desk pleasant. There was grassy areas and sidewalk to walk my dog. Not much around as far as food. Comfortable restful stay. Breakfast nothing spectacular.

Would not stay again.
I was not aware my room would be a smoking room and it was the last room available. The bedding and towels were clean but had holes in them. General feeling was unclean.

Slow check-in with some confusion by the desk attendant, sheets had a stain on them, a lightbulb was missing on the bedside lamp, the room smelled funny, the parking lot was filled with bass boats along with trucks leaving no parking for other guests

I apologize for the condition of your room. I'm not sure of the smell however we spray each room with commercial grade disinfectant that has a pleasant smell. I will check and make that the supplier hasn't changed the product. I am sorry about all the boats however we are a small community living near a large body of water and therefore tend to have a large amount of boaters frequent the area. Have a great day.

A decent place to pass the evening
Great selection of snacks and continental breakfast items. The staff is extremely pleasant and are what makes this location better than others in the area. The rooms have been slightly renovated but still feel a bit dated.
