“border house exceeded expectations”

booked this hotel last minute for a ski weekend and boy was i surprised. The rooms are beautiful and include frette linens and a jazucci tub as well as an additional tv in the bathroom (my kids couldn't believe it). The only issue is that there are no markings on the building so it is a little hard to initially find. You check in at the Casino so once you know that, all is well. We are staying there again soon. It's a great find.

“Very impressed”

When we first arrived into the casino lobby, we never assusmed that our rooms would be private and a setting which one would enjoy with a toddler however once we got our keys and stepped into our room it was a whole different story. The furniture is antique the sheets and bath towels were Frette from Italy. The Shampoo, conditioner and lotion were in biodegradable containers. In the morning we went to the bistro for our complimentary breakfast which was made of organic quality eggs and fresh fruits. On top of that the employees smile and manage to create a friendly and yet professional enviornment. Great place

“A Romantic Surprise!”

the rooms were updated, clean and romantic!! the only drawback was that we had to enter the casino (which was detached) to check in and it was smokey inside!

“SHHH!!”

My wife and I wanted a one-night getaway for our anniversary. Her wish list included jetted tub, bathrobes, fireplace, fancy linen, etc. I left it to her to find a place, figuring it would probably be an expensive excursion. When she found Border House, I was ecstatic to see such reasonable rates. Border House ended up far exceeding our expectations. The rooms were just as advertised with complimentary water, a candy basket, nice big balconies, large flat screen TV, a jetted tub with mood lights, and even a TV in the bathroom. The facility is separate from the casino, so it was very quiet and peaceful. It was the off season, but no matter the cost, we will be staying there again soon. This hotel is well worth it.

“Nice hotel for a cozy wk in the heart of lake taho”

I have spent christmas evening with my family in a very cozy suite. Such a very nice room. Good quality. The only drawback was the wifi which was not available in the bedroom. What a shame! For this price, i expected ooutside hottub or a pool. The hotel is very well located.
