Pros: nothing
Cons: tell potential guests the truth and rate it accordingly. Doesn't give me the feeling that Expedia knows much about the hotels they offer

We enjoyed our stay, staff was so polite and accommodating. This is the place to stay if you have a jeep rental and have traveled staying in hostels.

This place is the WORSE place to stay if you go to Culebra. it is dark and so far away from the tourist zone and worse of all, the staff is so unprofessional.... the owner tries to be nice, and in a way she was, but is obviously that she cant handle the whole place. We arrive early and there was no one to help us, they let me waiting for at least 15 min to "check in" while she was talking to I don't know who. the office and almost the whole place was unattended, Lisa the owner said that they had a storm couple days ago and they haven't clean the mess. Officially we never made the check in and never signed any paper work.. she showed me the room where we were going to stay but never gave me the keys, I got them because she forgotten inside the room....also one of the guys was so rude to us, yelled at me and also at the owner more than a couple of times... he was drunk, fowl speaking and cursing. obviously we got so scare about staying for the night, thank god I asked for help to one of the locals and they gave me some info about that guy and that hotel. The previous owner made some investments on another hotel in Costa Rica (if I remembered correct), and the bank is taking over the Bahia marina hotel.... a really good and nice person helped us to find a safer place to spend the night, but after that, I couldn't close my eyes at all. It probably doesn't sound that terrible now, but when you are stuck in the middle of no where, IT IS a nightmare.. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

We go there later than check in and they take care of us ASAP gave us comp drinks and towels for the pool The people where beautiful and welcoming extremely helpful . We would definitely do it again

Dirty and neglected....

Hotel in terrible condition. Looking awful already when you approach it. Chickens raking free and their droppings everywhere. Rooms dingy. Bed sheets were clean thought. Overall experience: disgusting!

Overall it was a good experience. Hotel was a little bit deteriorated in its structure, but our room was very nice and clean in the inside and had a nice view.

Stay away from this property

We reserved a room with an ocean view via hotels.com. We were told upon check in the room type we requested is no longer available. That section of the resort is closed. One of the swimming pools and the main restaurant are also closed. We paid hotels.com in full for our stay. However, the resort placed TWO additional charges for our stay. The resort is under new management. Hopefully they can turn this place around. For now, I would strongly recommend you stay elsewhere.

I had stayed at this hotel about 3 years ago and the hotel is not the same. The advertised amenities were not available and the room was run down. The toilet seat was broken and the towels provided were very small to be used as a bath towel. There were no paper towels in the kitchen. The room had not been cleaned prior to our arrival as there were dead roaches in the room. The one pool that was open had no open bar and the bathroom at the pool was dirty and smelly. The room and restaurant are not worth what is charged. I will not stay there again.

Terrible service!, has gone down

Pros: The view, Culebra is gorgeous. THe room was spacious.
Cons: A lot, read above.
Location: Dine at Mamacita's for lunch, and go shopping for grocery's at Mayra's (when open, they have strange schedule that goes around the boat schedule)
The service was terrible. They didn't provide wi-fi on rooms, small TV, broken seats, cabinet, no table on balcony, no dinning table. Skimped on soap, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid. Charged more than $320 per night and didn't want to give us towels.
