“UCLA and back again”
I went to UCLA to view two movies, and the Ramada Culver City was the most convinient to get to UCLA.
It was located on Sepulveda Boulevard, and a bus ride away from the University. THE RAMADA was the BEST LOOKING HOTEL in the area.
When I got there, the clerk got me into my room quickly and easily.
The room was VERY, VERY clean; had all the amenities as well as a microwave and a bar fridge that I was NOT TOLD ABOUT, this was A GREAT BONUS. I was able to heat up food for my three days.
The area around the hotel, Culver city, wasn't so spectacular; there was only a 7-11 and a Carl's Jr., as well as some other fast food places that looked of lesser quality.
The Hotel had free WiFi, but it KEPT CUTTING OUT. It would kick me off without warning, so I am assured of severe roaming charges. :(
But It was close to where I had to catch my bus to UCLA, and aside from the bed pillows (uncomfortable), the hotel was AMAZING. Very close to LAX, although still $25-30 for a cab ride.
