“great choice for very low price”

the place is clean, nice and quiet, of course its not a spa but is a good place to stay if you want to visit melrose, sunset, west hollywood and nearby areas.

staff was very polite, We initially went for a very early morning cheer competition, so we had to check out very early....but when we found out it was cancelled they allowed us to go back to the room for a few more hours of sleep. the rooms were very clean and for it being right next to the freeway it was very quite and peaceful at night. I would definitly go back!

“Great motel close to the beach”

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this motel. The room looked new inside- flat screen tv, new carpet, new looking bathroom, a cute dining nook, and plenty of space- the room was pretty big. The bathroom had it's own hairdryer, which was nice. The only thing I would have liked that the room didn't have would be a coffee maker. Also, the mattress was nothing to write home about- it was hard. The outside of the motel is maintained very well, also; It was clean and manicured. The staff was very nice. I would stay here again and recommend this place to a friend. Overall we really liked this place.

“great place for the price”

Without knowing it, we have a way of booking hotels that are in the middle of a renovation and this was no exception. The workers were working during the day painting and such, nothing disruptive, no noise. The good news was that we got a newly renovated room for a very reasonable rate. I have the feeling the fees will go up when the hotel is fully resorted. We loved what they are doing and would go back in a heartbeat, if the rate doesn't fly up too much.

“Good value”

The Sunburst Spa and Suites is a decent motel--not fancy, but I found it clean and comfortable and worth the money. The name is a bit fanciful as the pool is pretty petite. But the service was friendly and the price was right.

Location is convenient, rooms clean and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. Missing and disfunctional lighting in room and disfunctional vending machines were annoying, though.
