“Historic Charm in Los Angeles”

Lovely property from the 1920's/30's with sprawling lobby filled with various seating arrangements, tables for casual dining, live music most nights, and a bar. Pleasant and efficient staff includes a great bartender. Movies, restaurants and shops within immediate walking distance. The room was small, but this wasn't a problem for us as we spent little time in it. The bathroom was large and updated. Generous breakfast every morning. Nice crowds at night include locals. We would chose this hotel again over any "box" motel.

“Sweet Surprise”

At first I was skeptical in staying in this hotel because of its star rating and usually on business I stay in large known chain hotels. Honestly can say I am very pleased with this trendy, homey, glamourous 40's style and clean hotel. It is next to a very nice area of shops, movies, restaurants and my favorite part was the deep jacuzzi bubble bath which they dont advertize. I would definitely stay here again. Not very family friendly, though as there is a bar/lounge always full of industry people in the evening hours. Very affordable.

“Great location..”

The Culver Hotel has a friendly, helpful staff, and is in a great location to see all the sites of L.A. Parking was validated at a nearby garage, and the hotel bar was a great place to cap the night.. Recommended for travellers who want to stay in a place with a bit of history.. I'll definitely stay there again.

“Reminds me of the Grammercy Park Hotel in NYC”

Great little Hotel....slightly dated but comfortable. Accomodating staff, central location for my art board business, quaint little town. Needs a little update in drapes, bedding and rugs in room, but still clean, neat and comfortable.

“Great for the price”

The Culver Hotel has the feeling of old Hollywood to it with its charming decor. The rooms are clean, large and comfortable and the staff is friendly and very helpful in a natural way, rather than in the practiced professional way one gets at large hotel chains. You won't get a number of the comforts of a large hotel chain (no room service, tiny and slow elevator, etc) but you will get a central location in LA at a great price. And if you don't feel like driving, there are a number of great restaurants, coffee shops, movie theater, and Trader Joe's in easy walking distance.

“Great little treasure”

A sweet little hotel at a great price. Fun antique furniture, great piano bar with pillowy couches in lobby, nice little part of Culver City to stroll through shops or have something to eat. Close to everything in LA. Our only complaint was the continental breakfast: a few pastries and juice, sad. Go there!

“Bliss in the center of Culver City!”

The historic Culver City Hotel is at the heart of a great dining mecca, with small bistros and fine restaurants, as well as small shops and even Trader Joe's! The hotel food was good, the service wonderful. The rooms are furnished with antiques, but still have modern amenities. You can park below Trader Joe's and the hotel will charge less than the garage charges. Just be sure to bring your parking ticket into the hotel to be validated before you drive out the next day. If you are a TV junkie, be aware their channel selection is limited to about 20 common stations. Otherwise, enjoy! The neighborhood is safe... and on Tuesdays in the summer, there is a huge Farmer's Market across the street.

“a pleasant surprise”

we chose the culver city hotel strictly by location.. our son just moved to culver city and we wanted the convenience of a nearby hotel.. my husband and i were extremely pleasantly surprised..our room was celan and large, the bathroom was modern and also generously sized (room 603).. it had all the amenities you would expect from an upscale hotel with the charm of a B&B ...we'll be back!
