i really like this hotel, it was so clean and so nice and comfortable the staff was superior. it smelled so amazing my weekened was complete with this hotel.

We were very satisfied with our stay at Comfort Inn Grantsville. We arrived earlier than expected and were graciously allowed to check-in to our room early! Thank You!

“Matches what was expected”

The hotel which has passed through many hands is pretty much what you expect. It is older but the staff is friendly and responds well. Breakfast is awkwardly laid out but due to its prior life as a restaurant. Rooms are average and the beds a little worn. Price is a about right.

“Grantsville hotels”

Upon finding the hotel - I'm not sure why we didn't have cell reception a half mile from it - it was a 4 story large bldg. The entrance is fabulous I hope they use the fireplace in the winter. It felt welcoming and roomy. Our room was nice, clean and roomy enough for the family of 4 with all our stuff. They had a water problem which we were able to observe from our window but it didn't effect the hot water for showers. We had to remind them we had a 2 night stay. Breakfast bar was pretty good. Always fun to make those waffles the girls love to eat. Exercise room was standard - the pool looked better than most.

“Would not go back”

I booked my reservation @ the Comfort Inn since it had a pool. We, my 3 young daughter's and I, arrived @ 7:30pm in the evening, looking forward to swimming after our long drive. We were met by 3 men in the pool who were smoking and drinking alcohol. We left (obviously!) and reported it to the front desk and we were told there was nothing he could do. So...we returned to our room and watched T.V. instead ( a huge disappointment!)! The pool was humid and the smoke just hung in the air. It was gross! The alcohol issue was pretty pitiful too! I was under the impression that the Comfort Inn was a family friendly hotel! Thankfully the room was clean. And the complimentary breakfast was really nice. My kids got a kick out of making their own belgian waffle!

“Hotel being renovated, wait until they finish”

This was a quick overnight stay on the way to and from a wedding, but for the price, it was a big disappointment. The non-smoking room was close enough to the smoking rooms to have serious odor problems. The facilities are being updated, but at present are old and very banged up. The bathrooms, TVs and room furnishings should have been redone years ago. On the plus side, there is a large selection of ammo and hunting knives at the gas station across the street. Overall, this was a big step down from most Comfort Inns. Also, make sure you watch the signs, because while the location is listed as Grantsville, it is located one exit east.
