Very Clean

Posted May 22, 2015
Pros: Location is good. Next to a mall, restaurants, and major highway (not close enough to hear it).
Cons: Breakfast could be just a little more substantial. But I was not expecting anything for the great price of the rooms.
Location: 5 mins from Frostburg College. Lots of restaurants and shopping.
Had 2 rooms for graduation weekend. Both were very clean and comfortable.

grandson playing ball

Pros: everything
Cons: ice machine
Location: easy to get to for everything
This hotel had everything we needed for our one night stay. clean, easy to get to, great location for shopping and food access. If we are in Cumberland again we will stay here. And this hotel allows your pets. The only bad thing was the ice machine was empty most of the evening had to go and buy a bag.

Posted Apr 8, 2015
Easy to find close to various foods was ok not the Taj Mahal but a place to lay your head was quiet for two nights and the price was right cheapest around ! Could have been a little cleaner but ok

You get what you pay for.

I was aware that this was not going to be a top of the line hotel based on the rate I paid. I could have made an issue, but as I was not going to spend a lot of time in the room I didn't. This was not signed as a No-Smoking room, although I thought I had requested such. It wasn't a heavy smell of smoke, but some. Just make sure you reserve it the right way. As I was not near the elevator, I used the stairs, and it seems like the stairwell is used as a smoking lounge. Finally (again consider the price) the soap and shampoo was barely enough for single use. If you have more than one person in the room, you may have to run up the hill to the WalMart to buy more.

Good price

Posted Mar 15, 2015 on Hotels
The staff was friendly. The registration area wreaked of cigarette smoke as soon as you enter. I mentioned it to the desk clerk but she didn't respond. The toilet was dirty as was the room telephone. Hair on the phone and black fingerprints on it. The carpet didn't look clean either. The bathtub had a ring around it. The laundry room (across the hall from my room) was filthy as was the elevator floor. There should be a time frame for doing laundry. It kept me up all night long with people washing/drying clothes and talking loudly. The "breakfast" consisted of Sunny D (instead of real orange juice), slices of wheat bread and white bread, froot loop cereal and cheerios. There were tea bags but no hot water to make hot tea. The only good things were a comfortable bed, free wi-fi and a great price.

Very affordable and nice quality

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: Price, location
Cons: Fix the ice and vending machines on the second floor
Location: very good thai restaurant near by
The price was very affordable for the amenities. Continental breakfast was sub par though. The vending and ice machines were out of order on the second floor on which we stayed, so we had to go to other floors. Other than that the staff was friendly and rooms were very clean. The room offered a very nice view of a small mountain in the distance which was a nice touch.
