Pros: Great food
Location: Nice views out over the beach.
Never judge a book by it's cover! Staff very friendly, the room was a nice size and have everything you need. The food was excellent, most of it is their own produce from their farm, the breakfasts are huge and really tasty. We will certainly use it again if in the area.

amazing service and food

Posted May 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
Had a fabulous stay at Bailey Ground Hotel. The fabulous service from the stff and the amazing food cooked by the chef totally made our stay. The room although basic and may be a little tired compared to some chains, was comfortable and clean. The staff went out of their way to make us welcome and gave us great advice about the local area. The chefs menu is a rival to any restaurant and we can certainly recommend the rump steak and the home made curry, not forgetting the great breakfast in the morning. Great selection of local ales in the bar. You must also visit the ice cream parlour for the best cream tea ever had (amazing home made scones) and the ice cream!!! Ooh the ice creams are a real home made treat. A fab hotel and we will stay again!
