Good hotel in a great locationPosted Aug 28, 2014
It would be easy to pick faults with the hotel but we had a large comfortable room with good facilities, great internet connection and excellent breakfast. The central location was ideal for us to walk everywhere.

CentralPosted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Good price.
Cons: Need to keep on top of housekeeping.
Location: Was only there for stopover.
Long way to carry luggage from car park no help. Not ideal for disabled. Very expensive bar prices. Had to wait for room and on entry very dirty with beer cans left in room had to be moved not impressed .

Very convienient for the stationPosted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: Staff were friendly and breakfast was good
Location: Very handy for rail travel
Stayed here a few times now. It is satisfactory but definitely in need of refurbishment. Fixtures and fittings are dated and makes it all seem a bit drab.

Handy for family tiesPosted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Convenience for family travelling by train
Cons: Breakfast was a bit chaotic. Had to ask for cutlery, coffee. No one approached as seemed busy rushing about. Dinner expensive for type of food.
Suited our needs. Comfortable for what we needed. Could do with updating. Our room didn't.t have the packs of biscuits as others did. No tissues. Don.t like shower curtains

Handy for the town and visiting surrounding areasPosted Aug 6, 2014
Grest location room could have had a better view it backed onto the back of a noisy pub. Car park wasn't easy to locate but once we found it it was good.

Nice HotelPosted Jul 30, 2014
It's a nice Hotel, a bit old in places but clean. But the rooms are so hot and you can only open the window about two inches so can't get and air flow into room! No fans available either! So with a 12 month old it was a long night!

Good hotel, very close to the railway stationPosted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: All the staff are really friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed. The breakfast was hot and there was lots of choice.
Cons: Some water damage to the ceiling that could have been attended to as it spoilt what would be a lovely room. Struggled with the stiff shower control.
Location: The hotel is literally right next to the railway station and within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants, bars and Carlisle Cathedral.
I stayed here with my husband the night before my graduation at the nearby Carlisle Cathedral. The staff are very smiley, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was served buffet style and we could choose whatever we wanted from a good selection of hot and cold food. Our bags were stored for later in the day after we had checked out which was very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here and would choose this hotel again if we visited Carlisle in the future.

Would recommend.Posted Jul 18, 2014
Excellent location for visitng city. Even though my room overlooked station it was quiet. Good size room, but would've liked a hair dryer in it. Breakfast was good, but could have been hotter. Was happy with my stay and would recommend this hotel.
