Nice place to stay close to town.

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Easy to be comfortable here.
Location: Short walk to the center of town and easy access to the local trails through the fields to the circle.
Only stayed one night, but the place was clean and comfortable with a good breakfast. Location is very close to the main attractions if you enjoy a short walk.

Good location, nice easy walk to shops and activities. We only stayed one night on our way Edinburgh. Finding a place to eat was a challenge, most places were booked, so suggest researching and making reservations well in advance.

Short break in Keswick

Posted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: Good value and location Friendly, helpful owners. Good choice for breakfast which catered for hungry walkers!
Cons: The decor was a bit 'tired'. Bathroom too small, with sink in bedroom.
Location: Good location, only 5/10 minutes to town centre which has plenty of places to eat/drink. Convenient for the lake, theatre and plenty of walks .
A short break in Keswick with my daughter to meet up with other members of the family. Very convenient for the town centre which was just a short walk. There was also free on-street parking available right outside. While there we visited the theatre (very good) and had a boat ride on the lake. Also had two very good meals out, there was plenty of choice of eating places.

Very Pleasant Short Stay

Posted Aug 4, 2014
It's a nice guest house (it's not a 'hotel' as such) a short walk from the centre of Keswick. Ideal for our one night stay. We had a family room with double and single. The single was a proper bed not a 'put-you-up'. Everything was clean and tidy and the room had en suite shower. Breakfast was the usual full works and was very nice.

Nice family room on a quiet street

Posted Jul 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
Very nice hosts in a clean lodging. Food was ample and good. It was unusually hot so the room got very warm but the street was quiet so we left the window open. A very short walk into the center of town. The hosts let us leave our bags as we took one last hike which we were very appreciative.

We stayed for one night while walking in the area. Very friendly hosts and a good breakfast. A lovely place to stay in the middle of Keswick - easy walking distance of town centre.

Short walk into Keswick town centre

Posted Jun 17, 2014
A central place to stay, close to town and lots of great walks all near by. Our bedroom was on 3rd floor, bit of hike with bags but OK if you can manage. The couple was helpful with local info. Would recommend to stay.
