Stunning holiday location

Irton Hall is a stunning holiday location with impressive history, set in the foothills of the Western fells of the Lake District between Wasdale and Eskdale.

The King's Oak

Both Oliver Cromwell and Henry VI visited the hall, although it is reputed that Henry VI was refused entry and spent the night under the 1000 year old oak tree in front of the house, known as 'The King's Oak'.

Offering an impressive selection of cask marque accredited real ales and fine wines, our warm and inviting Bar also serves delicious home cooked meals daily 12.00pm to 9.00pm. In addition our newly opened restaurant is open most days serving 6.00pm to 9.00pm (booking essential) the fabulously decorated room creates a real mood complimented by the excellent food and non-intrusive service.

Sunday lunches are a real treat with all ingredients traceable back to the local farms and suppliers cooked fresh early Sunday morning it one not to be missed!!
