My room, which had a view of the hills and a door leading onto a patio facing East, had everything in it required for a comfortable stay. I awoke to a smashing sunrise, having left my curtains open in anticipation of same. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order with a choice of cereals etc. Staff were very friendly. I had a meal at the resturant, I will make sure to book next time as the food is so good and the hotel so well placed that it can get busy. I was so good, in fact, that I went again a few days later with my sister who lives in Barrow in Furness. A great hotel.
