The Westbourne is a beautiful, traditionally stone-built Lakeland guest house.
Our Lake District bed & breakfast has 7 en suite bedrooms that have been tastefully furnished to a very high standard - each with its own style and character.

“a real delight”
This bed and breakfast was excellent. The hosts are very hospitable and were always willing to give us advice on what we could do locally. Breakfast was very good. The decor throughout the BB is very well done with a lot of additional pictures/prints etc that really do give it a homely feel. We would have no hesitation in recommending this BB nor the location.
“A wonderful welcome in Windermere”
Compared to other UK B&Bs, this was a great place. I will say that the mattress could have been better - that that is the case with 99% of the hotels and B&Bs in the UK. Guess we Americans are just spoiled. The hosts were wonderful - very gracious and welcoming - couldn't have been better.

We had 2 rooms a compact and a standard, both were fantastic. These were the ckleanest rooms i've ever stayed in. What a wonderful place to stay great b/fast lovely people and in a perfect possition for wondering around town and trying the different bars/restaraunts. you can walk to the lake in less than 5 mins. we will be back.

Excellent location and hospitality, very friendly hosts. Room was quite small but comfortable and clean. Very good breakfast.
