What a little gem,Posted Jun 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
Everything was superb, Stuart the host was friendly, offering us refreshments on arrival and chatting to us while we drank our coffee. The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view of the countryside. The breakfast was hot and tasty. Will definitely stay there again.

Great facilities and servicePosted Apr 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
A recently re-furnished farm house with a very modern feel, excellent farm house breakfast and the service was top notch. Will definitely look to stay here again in future as it is a great base for the majority of the Lake District

Ideal placed B&B to access the lakes and dalesPosted Apr 18, 2014
Pros: High standard room with ensuite, very clean and warm.
Location: Gateway to the Lake District and Dales
Excellent comfortable and clean room with brilliant full Engish breakfasts, Stuart the owner recommended the local Pub for evening meals and arranged a lovely table for us with the staff at the Strickland Arms who made us very welcome. We would stay again next time we are in that part of the country.

Comfortable, welcoming B&BPosted Feb 20, 2014
We recently enjoyed a two night stay at Two Acres, whilst visiting family in the village. Stewart was a most welcoming host and made us feel at home. We stayed in the ensuite room, which was spacious and quiet. The shower was great and the breakfast fantastic! We will definitely be back again when in the area.

The perfect host and comfy beds!Posted Feb 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
From the moment we arrived, our host Stuart, could not have been more welcoming..... The location wasn't quite as expected, but the accommodation itself was extremely homely and high spec. The king size bed seemed to have shrunk a little, but that was a minor point given the exceptional comfort. The breakfast was fabulous and the chocolate weetabix went down fabulously with our 8 year-old! He was even happier when discovering Stuart and he shared a passion for a certain NW football powerhouse (not from Manchester..), and was generously given an old shirt by our host. Overall lovely - we may be back in the summer!

Wonderful bed and breakfast, the only fault about it is that it can be easy to miss but well worth everything else! Stuart is a great and friendly host as well, can't imagine anyone having a bad stay here!

Cosy Cottage!Posted Oct 29, 2013
We stopped here on the 26th to the 28th of october 2013 and it was lovely! When we arrived Stuart was very welcoming and helpful and upgraded us to the room with an en suite as there had been a cancelation, he also booked us into a place for our tea that night. The room was very spacious and had a fantastic view, nice bathroom with a huge shower and a comfy bed. Excellent food, we had breakfast both morning and couldn't fault anything. Stuart was a huge help with different activities we could do in the days we was there, i strongly recommend the hare and hounds (in levens village) small pub and quite a small menu but does a great burger! Would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast and will be returning in the future!

Perfect. Stuart was a perfect host and made our stay really excellent. His breakfasts were fantastic and he made my wife and 5yo step-daughter feel so welcome and took time to make us all feel so welcome. Fantastic place, every body should stay at 2acres. Can't fault it.
