Definitely would recommend this hotel. We stayed for seven days and if I plan on going back to Curacao I would stay there again.

Scenic hotel with friendly staff.

Pros- The hotel is very pretty and the amenities are great. Cons- Far from the main town and the free shuttle leaves only twice a day. The hotel should charge guests $5.00 a person and provide an hourly shuttle service to town every hour from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Overall my stay was pleasant and the staff was great.

Vacation

This is our second time at the curaƧao marriot and again our stay was perfect! Everyone was extremely accommodating and even surprised my husband with a cake, balloons and confetti in our room for his 40th birthday! Everyone went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect! I cannot say enough about this hotel! Perfect all around!! We will be back again very soon!!!

Beautiful surroundings and nice facility.

Pros: The pool was great, the live music and cold flavored water were nice touches.
Cons: The concierge could be more available and staff should know about local restaurants and activities.
Location: There wasn't very much close except for another hotel. That hotel had a barbecue on the beach that was family friendly.
I was a little disappointed in the restaurants available at this hotel. There wasn't a place for a casual meal other than the lounge which had limited offerings. The main restaurant had great service, but the food was just OK not outstanding. I wasn't expecting rough water at the beachfront----I thought the Caribbean was calmer--and it was at other locations on the island. Also, their "Special" barbecue nights were not really family friendly and not all you can eat like other hotels in the area.

Good place to stay.

Location: Rent a car and visit the island.
Pleasant, good beach access, and overall pleasant. A few fantastic people (particular mention to Carmen the one serving omelettes at breakfast time) On a less positive note, (1) the queue for breakfast is definitely too long... Either they put a bigger place or more tables. (2) Attention at the swimming pool / beach is sometime slow, very slow.

Excellent hotel, location and cleanliness great

Pros: Resort amenities all at your disposal.
Cons: More elevators or ramps to make it more handicap accessible.
Location: Definitely have to utilize shuttle or taxi to get around. Not near town or tourist sites.
Stayed in beachfront room. Overall experience was great. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. This was an anniversary trip for us once the word leaked out, Anabella the restaurant supervisor at Seabreeze had a small celebration for us onsite. Everything was great, we definitely plan to return.

Fantastic!

Pros: Beautiful beach front hotel and grounds w/reef just offshore and great, convenient dive shop; friendly, helpful staff; nice room and balcony; igaunas!
Cons: WiFi access and lower or no cost; better cooling room refrigerators (very minor).
Location: Further from downtown than we had thought (not practical to walk), so having a rental car was great. Very few street signs so staff directions helped!
Everything we expected and much more. Beach front room was our spot in Paradise. The beach, grounds, pool and common areas were lovely. All the staff were super friendly and very helpful in checking in and out, helping us get the room we wanted, planning outings and providing directions and tips. The restaurant, bar/pub and Deli were great. Deli is a good deal for tasty breakfast sandwiches and other things as food, drinks, etc. tend to be quite pricey on the island. Stocking up at the Centrum Super Market saved us a bundle. WiFi costs about $9 a day, but you can save some by paying for 3-day or 5-day deals. Had problems with both of us using the same log-on (would kick the other off of internet, which was a pain). The dive shop was great-friendly instructors and staff and very convenient. Completed PADI certification with open water dives no problem at all. The coral reef just offshore was amazing. Easy to snorkel and swim as well. Lots of rocks in places so you have to watch your step a bit, but didn't take away from the experience. Aqua shoes helped a lot for walking in the water. Hated to leave. Would definitely stay there again without a doubt.

Beautiful Hotel & Beach!

Posted May 29, 2014
This resort was great. Beach was much better than some of the surrounding hotels that I saw. Staff was also incredibly accommodating. While it is a $15 cab ride into town, I didn't find that this was where I wanted to spend most of my time anyways. The only thing that could be improved were the restaurants. Portofino was pretty good, but the Seabreeze restaurant was not very tasty. Room service was also really high quality. Plus there is Tomatoes and Pirate Bay in walking distance (2 beach front delicious restaurants...be aware that service at Pirate Bay is hit or miss, but the food is worth the wait)Totally recommend this hotel if you are planning a trip to Curacao!!
