“tropical paradise, but self-service.”

I got the pool view villa with kitchenette and a large balcony and was very pleased with the comfort of it. The hotel, the beach and the food were delightful. BUT The service staff is practically null. There are no telephones in the rooms and bad internet connection if any. Food extremely expensive and you have to wait too long to be served. Other than that it is a paradise.

“Value for money”

The facility, bedroom with livingroom / full equipped kitchen and a patio, gives you more than only a hotel room and that for the same price. Further the setting of the resort is beautifull including the accomondations as restaurant / swimming pool / beach. The most beautifull birds are flying around the patio. For North Americans the shower cabin and seperate toilet area may be too small, while only cold water from the shower is may be also not appreciated. (Note: Only cold water from the showers is common practice in Curacao) We will certainly choose Livingstone again.

“Clean and close to beach”

Nice area, felt totally comfortable and safe, staff was nice. Mostly dutch families stay at this resort but most staff and tourists speak English which was nice.

“Curacao is a very nice island”

Honst and nice people. Nice location. Just a five-minute walk to the beach. 20 minutes to downtown Willemstad by bus. No A/C in the living room, just in the bed room. We experienced a slight water leak behind the dish washer.

“Very disappointing.”

Front desk closed early in the evening, very unfriendly staff. Never a smile. This hotel is in a pretty setting though. Quite far from the city, but can get there by bus if you have lots of time. Taxis are very expensive. There was one night security guard who was friendly and helpful. Short walk to the beach which wasn't much. Also have to rent a beach lounge even if you are staying at the hotel! Never plan to go back.
