Expedia ProblemsPosted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: good staff
Location: Curacao is a great place
Be aware of terminology used by Expedia and the hotel. Term "No View" means NO window to outside and not the quality of the view. Never in our travels over the past 60 to 70 years have we ever found an interior room in a hotel - yes, they are in cruise ships but are call interior not no view. Also, had booked a king bed and did not get it. Finally the water was barely warm and have not had a "cold shower" in decades and than only while camping. Staff in the hotel wee very good but not much to work with. Also, for nearly $400/night one would expect something a lot better. Oh yes, the air reservations to Curacao were changed by TWO hours earlier and no notice from Expedia or airlines. Found it when checking in the day before the flight. Oh yes, made ground transportation with Expedia and found via email from the company that they did not get information from Expedia that it was round trip nor did they have the flight numbers, time, and hotel. Something about Expedia changing their software and they did not have access to the server with this information. Again Expedia is not to be trusted. Check anything and everything!!!

As always a perfect stay.Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: Better question: What is not good at the hotel? Answer: Nothing!
Location: The hotel is next to the Rif Fort with many bars, restaurants and shops. Also close to the famous so called Pontjesbrug.
Since the existance of the hotel meanwhile I stayed there already so many times. The front desk is always very nice. Rooms, service and resturant are good. I love it. This time I stayed in 232., a room on one of the two sides of the hotel. Not really a nice view, but as I said. It is the room that counts and that was okay. Always warm water (when needed) and the beds are great. The hotel has two coffee bars (Starbucks); one close to the business center and the second one outside at the entrance of the complex.

Very warm people. The only thing to improve is room service. It took too much time and the food was not ok

Expensive! It isn't worth the cost at ALL!Posted Feb 21, 2015
First point is the staff... There are some who are kind, but most of them are not. People don't know how to talk to a customer, how to smile when explaining stuffs you ask. The second major point is the price. Too expensive for what they deliver to the guest. If I could think it over, I wouldn't have picked this hotel.

Fantastic place!!!Posted Feb 15, 2015
Pros: Infinity Beach & Cru Steakhouse
Cons: Main dining menu
Location: Walking into town is great. Lots of shops & restaurants
We returned for a second visit to this hotel & it is even better than we remembered!!! We stayed here in 2011 & it was great & now it is just as wonderful. The infinity beach is just awesome. We did the all-inclusive & it is the way to go. Everything is pretty expensive in Curacao. Had an ocean-view room on 4th floor, & the views were incredible. A cruise ship pulls in & out almost every day. Great to watch!! The location is perfect. You can walk right into town. The people are very friendly & we felt totally safe day & night. The casino is a lot of fun & the machines actually do pay off!! The only little thing we would say needs improvement is the main restaurant. The menu could have more choices, especially if you don't want to do the buffet. Overall, we wouldn't stay any where else. This resort is heaven on earth!!!

Nice hotel! Great location!Posted Feb 15, 2015
Beautiful hotel! Great location! Professional staff. Clean. Only downside is the smoke in the lobby from the casino. And the restaurant is overpriced.
