Good location but bad condition

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Plenty to improve
Location: A variety of restaurants, souvenir shops, and attractions are close by.
The location of the hotel is good, but nobody is willing to invest in it to improve its condition. Breakfast at hotel costs $10 additional per day. You can walk to Subway or McDonalds in one minute and have breakfast for $6.

Would go back there

Posted Jun 15, 2014
Pros: The location was extremely convenient.
Cons: The hot water was not great and not all rooms have a fridge.
Location: Hotel is really well located, a few steps from restaurants and bars in Punda. The market is not far as well so you can purchase some exotic fruits.
I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in May. I had to change room twice because we didn't have hot water each time. Some rooms smell humidity but it's not too bad and you have AC in the rooms. The staff was friendly. Breakfast is included. Its a simple breakfast with bread, ham and cheese. You can ask for some eggs but it's extra.

For an 24 h stop over perfectly placed

Posted Jun 11, 2014
Being only 24 h in Curacao, the hotel was cheap and well positioned in the center of Bandu/ Willemstaad. Sight seeing is easy going by walk around.

I'm disappointed

Posted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: At least the room and the bathroom were clean.
Cons: Everything
Location: close to the town at 10 min to the beach
The staff was very rude to me when I asked them something. I felt that they were letting me sleep there for free when I paid the hotel so I do not understand that such treatment. Furthermore, I called the reception because in this hotel the shampoo is rarely found in the bathroom and they said that they don't have to put these things everyday. Actually, there were not toothpaste at any time. I would not recommend this hotel at all, and that if I went back I would not go in this hotel

Trip to Curacao

Posted Mar 24, 2014
The country is nice to visit but the hotel needs an upgrade. The same thing for breakfast every morning is horrible baloney and toast.....that's ridiculous and it's a slice of cheese a slice of baloney and two slice of toast per person for too much money.

Terrible service in middle of a great location

Posted Mar 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
Where can i start 1-No electrical outlet in the bathroom. 2-Air conditioner works like a semi truck. You either sleep in heat or stay up in cool? 3-Almost like a security guard looking waiter guarding only breakfast item cheese so you do not take an extra slice. Breakfast was a joke. 4- 5 USD for one minute of a local call? It was simply the worst hotel i ever stayed in 40 years of travelling. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL PERIOD

Good hotel close to shops

Posted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: Convenient and clean
Cons: Some of the decor could be updated
Location: It is right in the middle of shopping and near the small pedestrian bridge that crosses the river.
This hotel is 1/2 block from the main street, but taxi drivers know where it is and the access is easy. A complimentary breakfast is served, which is very handy, and the staff is friendly and willing to help call taxis as needed. I would use this hotel again and do not hesitate to recommend it as a good place to stay. It is not the most elegant, but it is adequate and convenient.

Aging hotel, basic amenities, good location

Posted Feb 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
I stayed there twice, as Curacao is on the flight path between Venezuela and the US. The taxi from the airport was USD 35 ... so consider that when booking here. The elevator operated with my room security card, but the mechanism is old and I and other guests had to ask several times for help from staff. Staff were ok but not particularly welcoming or service oriented. I would stay there again because it is the least expensive hotel in Willemstad bookable on the internet, but it was otherwise not a place where lifelong memories are made.
