“I'm coming back for sure!”

Everything was great, the room had a great view to the sea and was very clean. It was really confortable. The staff was very friendly. I just change one thing, you have to leave the key of the room on the frontdesk everytime you are going out, and you have to ask for it when you return. Excellent location for shopping and is close to the bus stop in Punda and Otrobanda. The rest was excellent, i'll come back for sure!

We loved the Plaza hotel. The Location is the best on the island. right in the heart of Willemstad. We were able to walk to everything. The hotel staff was great, helpful and make some great recommendations for restaurant and tours. Our room was a nice size, clean and had a great ocean view We will certainly be back soon...

Great Location!!! The best on the island...close to everything Curacao has to offer. Waterfort Restaurant at the hotel was wonderful. They have a few Restaurants along the waterfront on the Arches also. The Staff was very accommodating, our room was clean. We had a short stay but really enjoyed it. We will be back...

“Convenient Location”

The hotel is in a great location for walking distance to all the sites in the area. The hotel is on the water and has a great view of the ocean and town from the bar also a nice pool area. If driving, the location can be a little difficult but the hotel does offer free parking. The rooms were clean and the staff helpful however I would not call this hotel high end. Price was comparable with other hotels I checked in the same quality range. I have stayed there several times and would probably do so again if I go back.

The room was better than than expected for the rating of the hotel, however, some areas of the hotel need maintenance. Hotel staff were pleasant. Good location near the Punda and floating bridge.

“Good for an average hotel”

We stayed at this hotel for one night due to scheduling of flights from US. We just wanted an average inexpensive place to stay for one night and this hotel was exactly that. Great location in downtown close to many restaurants, great view of the bay and city from our room and easy access to the waterfront area. Only complaint is that we arrived very late on a friday night and the parking is very limited. Cars literally park on the sidewalks and wherever they can "make a space". It was very crowded due to guests and non guests visiting the casino and nearby restaurants. Hotel should have reserved spaces for guests of the hotel. We "created" a space and if we didn't, I don't know where we would have parked. When I told the front desk that there were no spaces they seemed surprised and offered no suggestions or help. Otherwise, good place to stay.

I selected the Curacao Plaza Hotel for it's great price and location. I am glad I stayed here, because I had a fantastic stay. I also understand that there's a new management team here and everyone was very helpful! My room over looked the ocean and it was super clean and bright. My wireless service was perfect and my dinner better than expected! I sat outside along the shoreline and had a wonderful time. There are hundreds of shops and restaurants a few steps from the hotel which added to my pleasure of my stay. Plus, I saw some giant ships entering the harbor, visible right from my room . Overall...a PERFECT STAY!

“A welcoming surprise”

From most of the reviews we read before booking this hotel, we expected to find an untidy room and a leaking moldy bathroom awaiting us. But when we arrived and to our surprise the room was clean and has an excellent ocean view and the bathroom was in good condition. Our room was located in the low rise building of the hotel, above the lobby and the main floor. The hotel was built right beside the waterfront and of walking distance to many places of interest, restaurants and shops. We are thankful for this nice and inexpensive accommodation. We really enjoyed our two nights stay and will recommend it to friends. The day we were going to check out, it was raining heavily and the ceiling of the room was leaking slowly. Since we are leaving it did not affect us but it may affect other guests in the rainy season.
