Loved the dolphins!

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: We loved the fact that we could see the balcony show from our balcony
Cons: There were ants throughout the room
Location: There were dozens of restaurants and bars a short, romantic beach walk away, So many that we didn't get to try them all. The hotel's bar was nice.
We finally went to the aquarium on the last day of our stay. We weren't motivated to go earlier because we could see the dolphin show perfectly from our balcony. We're glad we actually went, it was very nice! We were a leisurely stroll from Mambo beach where they had a party Thursday and Sunday nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had an ant problem but didn't let that ruin my stay, I got some spray from the housekeeping lady.

Wunderschöne Hotelanlage direkt am Meer

Posted Apr 17, 2015

Peace and quiet

Posted Apr 1, 2015
Just returned from 2 weeks. This was our first trip that was not an all inclusive resort. Not a place if you are looking for activity, organized fun, or night life. Very quiet. Hotel staff seemed disinterested and bored, and a bit unfriendly. Dependable shuttle to grocery store and downtown.

Super location with calm beach and good snorkeling

Posted Mar 31, 2015
Pros: Relaxing
Location: The resort is a small island right next to the sea aquarium island and main island. The free admission to the sea aquarium is a nice perk.
We had a nice one-bedroom suite with a full kitchen and very large balcony looking out over the ocean. It is worth the extra price for this configuration over the half size mini-suite. We could watch the dolphin shows and training sessions from our balcony. The layout of the resort is good, with easy access to the pools and beach areas. Spring break must not be a high season, because the resort was not crowded at all. Many times we had the beach to ourselves. Augusto's Restaurant was good for breakfast and dinner with many Italian and seafood selections.

Great place!

Posted Mar 31, 2015
Pros: Room, Views, hotel staff, location.
Cons: Food and drinks.
This hotel is exactly what we needed and expected. We had a 1 bdr with amazing view of the ocean and dolphins. 5 minutes walk from shops and restaurants on Mambo Beach and Cabana Beach. The only thing that I suggest is not to eat at this hotel. Their breakfast is expensive and not so good. There is a Lion's Dive beach resort 2 minutes away by walking on the little bridge. And they have great selection and very delicious food for breakfasts and lunches, even snacks. And they are reasonably priced. In any case, I will definitely recommend Royal Sea Aquarium resort and I will definitely stay there again.

The most relaxing place we have ever stayed.

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: The beach as well as the free shuttle into town for shopping.
Cons: The menu at the restaurant could be expanded a bit but there was something for everyone in our party.
Location: The Sea Aquarium is next door, free admission is included with your stay. There is a shuttle to the downtown shopping areas of Punda and Otrabanda.
This small resort has everything you need with none of the things that tend to irritate us. The beach is small but clean and easily accessible. There are no vendors on the beach at all, there is no loud music and there is plenty of shade if you need it. Food and drink are easily reached and you can truly relax. You can snorkel right there or do a walk in scuba dive if that is your thing.

Sehr schöne Apartments mit direkter Strandlage

Posted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: Das Apartment
Mehrere Restaurants in Umgebung

Great hotel, but a few hiccups.

Posted Feb 26, 2015 on Hotels.com
Curacao is a beautiful country (by the water anyway) and our hotel was perfectly located. It was near Mambo beach, neighbouring a SeaQuarium and was within distance to everything. Taxis are a little expensive and practically everything (including our hotel) was closed on Sunday, so don't expect housekeeping. Royal took somewhat good care of us. Special shoutout to Stefon and Tirston who were super helpful and friendly.

Curacao vacation @ Royal Sea Aquarium Resort

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: The room facing the aquarium B205B had a great view.
Cons: Air conditioning controls.
Location: Mambo beach was a short walk and there were other bars and restaurants. The Sunset at Mambo Beach was worth watching.
The hotel staff was helpful. They provided a free shopping shuttle. Augustos restaurant was great. The food was excellent and the staff were very good. The room was clean and there were no bugs. The aquarium pass was useful. The GYM was good. The RV tour was great. Overall a very good experience. I will probably return next year.
