"Great hotel near the other resorts and dolphins!"
We had a great deal, $90/night. Our room overlooked the dolphin academy, which meant we get to watch the dolphins as much as we wanted from our room! This place is also right across from the rest of the resorts, which was great for shopping, resting, quick bites to eat, and for drinks. Normally we don't stay in resorts; we usually like being near areas that aren't so heavily touristed, but the deal was too good to pass up.

"Wonderful hotel, great amenities, attentive staff"
We chose not to take the all inclusive option to give us more freedom to experience Curacao (which has an excellent array of restaurants) Staff were wonderful, fluent in 3-4 languages and always willing to help We're divers so it was great to have the Ocean Encounters company right on site (prices are steep especially if you're paying for equipment rental 50$/day but probably comparable to other companies on the island) - their staff was very attentive and the dive experiences were wonderful The hotel itself has a nice private beach and a beautiful pool area The food at the Bella Italia restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced (especially the pizzas!) Medi also had nice options but be prepared to pay at least 60$ pp with drinks (and up to 50$ pp for the bfast buffet!) Shor was an utter disappointment if you're not going as part of the all-inclusive option because the prices are steep and the food is mediocre at best with tiiiiny portions...so when you're paying full price, it's quite upsetting You absolutely need a car because the drive from the plantation gate to the hotel itself is about 15 minutes and the plantation is about 30-40mins from the city of Willemstad

"Would definitely stay here again!"
This is hotel was wonderful. The staff was beyond helpful, the food at the restaurant (Nautilus) was delicious, the casino and bar were great. On the second floor there is a Starbucks, a gym, and that is where the pool and beach are. I'm sad to be back home. I would definitely stay here again!

"Great Serene Natural Beauty"
We stayed in Garden view Rm 150, which was very nice because the deck was very private and full of local wildlife because we faced thick natural brush. The room is also one of the closest to the lobby/bar/beach. The resort is gorgeously natural and secluded with just enough beach for the guests (which was fine because there were few non-guest visitors since we were 45 minutes from Williamstaad). I was surprised that the bathroom was not airconditioned (but we dressed in the room so it wasn't a problem#. The food at the resort was good, but not inexpensive. There are few places nearby. We loved Sol Food #right up the street, but only open Fri, Sat Sun [get a reservation]) and didn't enjoy Jaanchies. Didn't get to try Rancho El Sobrino. Beachfront grill @ resort was nice, but is not every night. We didn't experience any of the slow food service others mentioned, but we ate @ 7 or 8. We didn't need beach shoes, but there is a lot of coral close to the beach. Snorkling is right off the beach to see 10-15 colorful fish and some live coral. Service was always good, but certain employees were terriffic. Hank is the man. Evenings were beautifully quiet.

Getting out and exploring the island will be the fun part of your vacation. There are many things to do in Curacao that will cater to every traveler's interests. The island is well known for its diving and many tourists plan their Curacao vacations around this activity. There are also a lot of things to explore on land. Some of these attractions include Serena's Art Factory where you can explore the local art scene, the Den Dunki National Park where you can explore the local ecology and the Dolphin Academy where you can swim with the dolphins. Curacao also has an excellent selection of shopping and restaurants for travelers to explore.

When you book your trip with Expedia.com you will be able to find the Curacao hotel for you. Check out the listings for all the best hotels in Curacao to find the hotel in Curacao that meets all of your needs - from location to amenities.

Most Caribbean islands feature some sort of cultural melange, but no place does it quite like Curacao. Located just 180-miles off the Venezuelan coast, this Netherlands Antilles country is a melting pot of Dutch, Spanish, African, and Portuguese influences, and many of the area’s most notable landmarks pay tribute to that mix of cultures. You only need to take one peek at Willemstad’s candy-colored architecture or hear a few words of the island’s native Papiamentu language to understand that this country’s identity is based on much more than its status as a top-tourist destination.

Of course, there’s a reason Curacao achieved that status in the first place. Known for its tropical scenery and white-sand beaches, this island is a relaxation-seeker’s dream, and the best hotels in Curacao cater to travelers interested in soaking up the sun. Whether you’re searching for the perfect beach getaway or want to explore the limestone-covered Hato Caves, Expedia’s selection of Curacao hotel packages is here to help you carve out a slice of this unique paradise.

Though Curacao benefits from a tropical climate, you’ll find that some months offer a better experience than others. In general, Curacao hotels are at their busiest from December to April. It’s a fantastic time to vacation on the island — the shopping districts buzz with energy, and the local nightlife is in full swing — but make sure to book your reservations early. It’s easiest to find Curacao hotel deals several months in advance, and the prices tend to get higher the longer you wait.

If your travel dates aren’t set, however, and you’re interested in scoring a cheap Curacao hotel deal, consider visiting during the summer months. You’ll be able to book discount rooms and special rates at some of the top resorts, and the beaches will be much less crowded. Don’t worry about the rainy season; Curacao isn’t located directly in the Caribbean’s hurricane zone, so severe storms aren’t nearly as frequent.

No matter when you choose to travel, don’t forget to search for cheap hotel deals in Curacao locations just outside the Willemstad center. Not only will you be closer to off-the-beaten-path beaches, but you’ll also be in a great location to get a taste of the local lifestyle. Who knows? You might even meet someone who can teach you a little Papiamentu.
