The overall location is great very walkable with lots of shops and dining options but we found the hotel to be poorly maintained and dirty with bugs. Our room had dirty sheets and mold in the shower dead bugs and hair on the floor. Looks nothing like the pictures on Expedia. There are signs all over that says they will be remodeling soon, i hope this is true because the have a great location and staff.

The original room I was supposed to stay in was dirty so they put me in a room with single beds. The next night I was placed in a room which reflected what I had selected. It was dirty as well. When I complained at check out they only said they would let housekeeping know.

Old, cold hotel in the heart of the city.
This hotel is exactly what you pay for. It is in a safe area more or less and right near busses and the Tourist bus a few blocks away. The only staff member who "speaks English" BARELY speaks English.... so that was a bit annoying. Can't say they were the friendliest either.... The breakfast was fabulous though, I'll give them that. The room was basic. A bed, a side table, and a "desk". I'm pretty sure the mattress hadn't been changed in ages but at least the pillow didn't smell.

There are much better options
I went into expecting very little. And I got even less than what was expected. The room was in the corner of the hotel, which made WiFi reception impossible in the room. During my stay, the window a/c / heat unit did not work, and they did not fix it during my stay. The room was damp...it's hard to describe but everything just seemed wet in the room. Pillows, sheets, towels, clothes, etc. Towels I hung to dry never actually dried. I had friends staying in Hotel Lancaster for a couple extra bucks a block or so away and the staff was amazing and the rooms were the nicest I had seen during my two weeks in Brazil for the world cup. The staff at this place was also supposedly versed in English. This was definitely not the case. Every other hotel had English speaking staff. I also had a guest over in my room one night so the couple he traveled with could have a day to themselves...this place charged me 60 reais (~$27USD) for my guest for the night...I'm not even sure how they knew he was there. I complained about the Wifi and window ac unit...no avail. I'd stay away from this place, but hey what do I know. I only went during their busiest time when they were trying to do everything they could to provide a good service. And dear lord was it awful.

Razoável. Recepção funcionários super atenciosos e prestativos. Quarto grande confortável Banheiro grande e funcional ducha muito boa. Infelizmente o colchão está precisando trocar molas cansadas não é nada confortável acordei com dores nas costas.( Precisa substituir) Café da manhã local muito bonito Copeiro muito atencioso Buffet de café diversificado Mas infelizmente, café e leite estava temperatura morna, pães e bolos recados. Frutas estava ótima e saborosas Sucos diversos de boa qualidade. Hotel classificado como 4 estrelas, mas isso foi no passado, agora tem que melhorar. Mas se está procurando hotel com custo benefício, é uma boa opção

Instalações velhas e precárias. Boa localização.
O edifício é bem antigo e as instalações velhas e mal cuidadas. As toalhas são finas e pequenas, os lençóis surrados, sem elástico, finos e não cobrem a cama adequadamente, os armários e cortinas são velhos e tem cheiro de mofo, a água demora muito tempo para esquentar o que faz com que deixemos o chuveiro ligado por 10 minutos até que ela esquente o suficientemente. O vaso sanitário vazava água constantemente e não tinha fluxo satisfatório para a função. O café da manhã é simples, adequado, mas o cuidado com as reposições, organização e nomeclatura dos alimentos chegava até ser divertido de tão desconexo. Os staffs foram muito educados e atenciosos mas é muito difícil manter um bom serviço quando a infraestrutura é falha do começo ao fim. É uma pena pois o prédio é muito bonito e a localização sensacional. Este hotel poderia ser um hotel icônico de Curitiba.

A melhorar, muito.
Banheiro horrível, antigo e que precisa de reforma urgente. Pia do banheito muito pequena e muito baixa, o que dificultava consideravelmente a realização de tarefas simples como, por exemplo, escovar os dentes. Roupa de cama de tamanho incompatível (menor) com o tamanho da cama. Janela não fechava direito. Armário (guarda-roupa) com cheiro de não utilizado há muito tempo. Ar condicionado barulhento e empoeirado. Foi nossa primeira visita a Curitiba e o hotel que ficamos hospedados certamente deixou nossa visita muito menos empolgante. Os apenas 2 dias se tornaram longos demais diante desse tipo de aborrecimento. Não voltaremos, ou se voltarmos algum dia, certamente não ficaremos hospedados nesse hotel.

Hotel muito bom e bem localizado. De início o ar condicionado não funcionou, avisamos a portaria, mas o rapaz não pode ir até o quarto para arrumar, felizmente Curitiba tem um clima ameno e pudemos dormir., No dia seguinte arrumaram o ar condicionado. Na saída a moça da recepção disse que não havia tolerância para permanência por mais alguns minutos e tivemos que sair exatamente às 12h, normalmente os hotéis possuem uma tolerância.

Bom custo benefício
No geral o custo benefício é bom mas o ar condicionado não gelava direito, a cama Queen não era Queen, na verdade eram duas camas de solteiros juntas, o que deixava um espaço entre uma cama e outra, o café da manhã é bem simples e a reposição bastante limitada. Por outra lado, eu achei a.localização excelente, dá pra fazer muita coisa andando e o ônibus turístico para pertissimo do hotel. As condições do quarto também achei aceitável. Tive problema com a fechadura do quarto que deu problema várias vezes ao sair, não trancava de jeito nenhum.

Sempre fiquei neste hotel, porem esta ultima estadia estava pessimo. Chao do quarto sujo, com cabelo e sujeiras pelo quarto, cama, banheiro.... porta nao trancava, tanto que abriram porta com nos dentro. Cafe da manha faltando tudo, cafe, faca, suco, ovo, copos...
