The only negative thing I could find. My view.Posted Nov 18, 2014
Great place to stay. Very safe. Excellent location. Shopping, restaurants all in gated type area. The staff was beyond excellent. House keeping was the best I have ever seen. Not only would I recomend to a friend, I will stay there again.

Best a 'round HyattPosted Aug 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
This Hyatt is located in a mall bowl ( not bowling, a mall in the round) surrounded by eateries and entertainment. Across the street from Walmart. A great place to enjoy San Jose. Breakfast selection was outstanding -- and I don't eat eggs

Clean, quiet, and excellent servicePosted Aug 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel was recommended to my by a person I was visiting for business that also happened to live nearby. The location, in a circular mall, is somewhat unusual but worked quite well. The number of restaurants in the mall are numerous and varied. You'll find Swiss, Spanish, Mexican, French, Japanese, a sports bar, and even a McDonalds and a Denny's. The mall feels very western though so if you're looking for typical Costa Rican food there's a place called Donna Lela just across the highway. The hotel is also very "American" and seemed to be mostly used by people on business from the U.S. The service was outstanding and the woman that checked me in called me by name everytime I saw her during my stay. It's a bit outside central San Jose and that has it's advantages (less traffic, quieter) and disadvantages (doesn't really feel like you're "in" Costa Rica). I'd stay here again.

Great ExperiencePosted Aug 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel is, essentially, brand new, so the condition of the facility reflects this. All of the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The surrounding plaza/mall has a wide variety of restaurants, so almost any cravings can be satisfied. Be sure to ask for a room on the North side on the upper levels. Our room on the 6th floor had a great view of the various volcanos: Poas, Barva, Irauzu.

Nice hotelPosted Jul 23, 2014
My family and I love this hotel. It was very clean. The staff was amazing! The daily breakfast was out of this world . We enjoyed eating an authentic Costa Rican breakfast. Pinares is just a short ride out of town but that added to the Costa Rican experience. We rode the bus in town .
